6 Best convenience store in Evansville, Indiana (IN) 2024

A bit of a sketchy gas station near downtown Evansville. A few of the pumps didn’t work and they weren’t modern. There was some loitering and the parking lot area wasn’t very well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. ~Sarah

Literally THE worst pharmacy. Waiting for a prescription refill is always difficult. I never get it on the day I'm supposed because they hardly ever fill it when the prescription is sent. I've had to wait up to a week before. Hope no one needs any meds to prevent them from from dyin and they get it here because you would definitely not get your meds on time! ~Haley

Used to be good service and realitivly good food for a "gas station". Today I search for alternatives, as the lines are long and management is rude. The regular staff seem to be trying hard, but this place isn't ran like the other Thorntons stations. 10/22/21 update: Went back today.... long lines with employees ignoring customers. Other locations of this chain are really decent, but not this location. ~Snarffel

I love the location of this store. The only reason I'm not rating it higher is because this place always seems understaffed. They have a help wanted sign up at all times and jobs posted on their website but never seem to hire anyone. I've applied twice. Dollar General, if you are reading this, hire me. ~Craig

Could not under stand the language, did not under stand English , they were from India and very rude and disrespectful and made a comment in broken English that Americans were pigs. ~James

I only gave one star because 0 wasn’t an option. I tried to get gas at the pump and it would not take my card and told me to see cashier. I went in and waited in line. I told the male cashier that the pump wouldn’t take my card. He asked how much I was trying to put on there. I stated “I don’t know I just wanted to fill it up. I guess just put $20.” He told me “you can leave now.” Great customer service, not!!!! ~Lindsey
