Absolutely hate the live teller. Took the small bank feel out of the bank. I like that when I walk into the Ohio branch they know my name. I live closer to the Walmart brach but hate going to it now. ~Kevin

My wife recently got a new job and went online to set up her direct deposit for our checking at ASBT and the routing number showed that her check would be going to ASBT. However; it was the old routing number from before the buyout/merger and it sent her check into a holding pattern within the system. I called Dustin, told him what the situation was and he said he would check it with the back office and get back to me. Within 10 mins or so, my phone rang, ASBT had found the money and placed it into our account. Yesterday I wrote a less than flattering review and today I take it all back, Dustin restored my faith in ASBT . If I could give them 0 stars I would. Stay away from this bank!!! Very rude people. I told them I drove 6 hours away to cash a check since I live in Oklahoma and they told me to go to a branch in 233 miles away from the location I was at. They called the owner of the check and verified everything FOR NO REASON. After they said it was verified they told me the reason I could not cash the check was because I needed a thumbprint on the check. I told them I will put a thumbprint myself and again they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Stay away from this branch location!!!!! ~Eduardo

I do not recommend banking here, no protection. They give you the runaround, flat out lie about dates, and will lot allow you to file a dispute on a deceased person’s account because a dead man can’t sign for himself. My father passed in August and it was reported to the bank who said they could take no action until his death certificate was received, in that month his account was overdrafted by hundreds of dollars for transactions a dead man can’t make and were not authorized. ~Crissy
