5 Best breakfast restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (LA) 2025

Well I guess they ran out of sauce. Pathetic how poorly these sandwiches are put together these days. Can you at least attempt to make it look some what like the picture. 🤣 ~Cory

Hands down this has to be one of the best places in Baton Rouge for breakfast! I love the casualness of this place. You place your order, get a number and find a seat. We came early so tables were available but this place gets busy quickly. PROS: Everything! Atmosphere, music, food and staff are all awesome. Don’t skip the grits! They have to be the best I’ve ever had. Creamy and perfectly salted. I love that they offer smoked sausage as a meat option. It was tasty! Seriously this was a very tasty and satisfying meal. We left stuffed and happy! CONS: None with the exception you may have to wait for a table but everything moves quickly. Make sure to check out the local art that’s for sale on the walls. I have my eye on a few pieces. Can’t wait to return. ~Thysis

Ordered for pickup in store, received message order ready. When I got there Lobby was closed and staff made us go through dive through. Drive through was a 35 minute wait. Food was a total disaster. Half was cold (burritos) wrap bas burnt black, and order missing cinnamon twists. ~andrew

This is the worst McDonald’s in Baton Rouge. They asked me to pull forward to the next window and left me sitting there for 40 minutes. Once I reminded them that I was still there they got my order together but when I got home it was still missing items and condiments. Called back asked the manager to make it right so she said come back tomorrow, so I did. She offered us only what she left off the order instead of replacing the meal. If you mess up the order replace the meal I did not pay for a partial meal I paid for a whole meal. It’s not the customers fault when you fail to do your job. And on top of that the sister had an attitude as if she was being inconvenienced. So never go to the McDonald’s at 9750 Florida Blvd, BatonRouge, LA 70815 if you want to get what you order in a timely manner. So I returned this morning and all I received was more unprofessional inefficiency and apathy. I asked her (manager) on yesterday to give my kids and I an apple pie for the 40 minute wait and she lied and said we don’t have any apple pies. Instead of fixing the problem she caught that attitude as if our time meant nothing, five kids waiting 40 minutes in a truck. And her nasty condescending attitude was still alive and well when I spoke to her this morning. I’m disappointed and just done with this establishment! As of today 9-17-2022 I won’t be going back there for anything. There is a serious need for new management at this location it was not always like this. ~Rolon

I would like to start by saying the food here is rather tasty. That said, I have never felt welcome whenever I come in to order or to get something from the grocery store up front. The customer's are always very polite and friendly, but the staff always make me feel like I don't belong. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, though most dishes seem to be meat focused. There is likely no area for vegan preparation of foods. Kid-friendliness: It's a general store and very small restaurant combined. I don't think I've ever seen kids here, but I don't see why it would be inappropriate to bring them. Parking: The building is inside a strip mall, so parking is quite plentiful. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps are present, though there are no wheelchair friendly parking spots. Dietary restrictions: Most of the food on the menu appears to be comfort food. I don't believe that it would necessarily be the friendliest to most diets. ~Vincent
