6 Best supermarket in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (LA) 2024

1st time in this store . Everything was clean . Everything was stock very well . A very good Selection of fruits and vegetables. The baked goods we tried was very delicious. Seafood looked fresh . So did the very wide variety of meats . The people that worked there was very nice. Next time I’m in town I will shop here again. I wish more store owners put in the time to make everything look so nice like this store does . And the price are very reasonable. Whole Foods store looks nice but you pay for those looks .. This store looks nice and cheap on prices . Win win ! ~Robin

Cashiers never smile & rude to customers. They feel they are better than you. As far as the butcher, he is AMAZING! Very friendly guy, always smiles such a humble gentleman. I only come here to buy meat. NOTHING else as everything is way overpriced ~Yessy

Convenient, nice selection of items, and great deals when you catch them. The employees are generally nice too. But recently, I would suggest paying close attention when they ring up your items. The past couple of visits, I’ve had items that were scanned twice and deals that weren’t honored unless I happen to notice it at checkout. I’ve even had produce rung up for a more expensive kind…(a head of cabbage mistaken for napa cabbage.) I understand occasional slip ups, but this has happened within the past four visits. Normally I can spare a few dollars, but groceries are going up and the frequency of these mistakes are getting out of hand. ~Kori

Customer service is absolutely terrible. Many of the employees at the front don’t give a s**t about their jobs. It’s already irritating that many of them get paid to just stand around and chit chat, while I have to do the labor of scanning my own groceries. And when I ask for help at customer service, they act like it’s the biggest hassle in the world and give out a huge sigh. They act like I’m privileged for receiving their help… No, you’re just doing your job. ~T.
