Best brake shop in Lake Charles, Louisiana (LA) 2024

I use this place yearly for all our vehicles inspection. Super nice lady at the front desk, always willing to help you in the right direction if needed. I am so glad to see they have opened back up after Hurricane Laura, done so much damage to their little store. I feel you will not be disappointed by stopping in this home town shop. ~Sylvia

Needed a reliable and trustworthy place to buy a new set of tires and a battery for my truck. Went to Pumpelly Tire in Lake Charles, LA and was not disappointed. Very professional and friendly team from start to finish. Prices were very competitive with other area shops. The team kept me updated throughout the process of working on my vehicle. I left feeling like a valued customer and was confident that the work, and products I paid for were completed above and beyond my expectations. We were driving through LA from South FL and realized our tire had a slow leak. Called multiple tire shops while on the highway and this location was the only one that would be open late. The gentleman at the counter (I believe was the manager or owner) was very charismatic. He was very friendly, hospitable (let our small dog come into the waiting room), helpful and had a good sense of humor. He showed us the damage to our tire and got it fixed right away. Great customer service, timely service and reasonable pricing equals an amazing experience at this location. We highly recommend!!! ~Brian
