Best coffee store in New Orleans, Louisiana (LA) 2025

Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced on a campus. No eye contact, unpleasant demeanor and limited response with any question. Lastly, post your hours and place a closed sign when your are closed. ~M

Always nice and accommodating. I have been a big fan of Allegro Coffee Co. for a long time. This store is always on point. They are always nice and helpful. The Dark Roast French Coffee is my go to. You can get it whole beans or ground it. Free parking in the back of the store. ~Del

Ordered a latte in my reusable cup and was told they can only serve coffee in takeaway cups or Starbucks brand reusable cups. If this is a company policy this is appalling with regards to the environment and unnecessary waste in 2022! If this policy is only at this location, it is simply terrible customer service. I avoid single use items where possible and had brought my own reusable cup so I decided not to purchase anything and go elsewhere. My husband purchased a takeaway latte and said it was average and weak tasting. ~Rachel

Today I was a little bit disappointed about my Starbucks visit. I ordered a single espresso, but the taste was not that good. The barista was very helpful and offered me a new one, because she saw, that I did not like it. The second one was a little bit better, but still not like a real espresso. It was bitter and had a less taste. It was more like a real very small coffee instead of a strong and punchy taste. I appreciate the effort from the barista! ~Max
