Best beauty salon in Auburn, Maine (ME) 2024

Tonight we took our son in for a haircut. His stylist name was Narissa. We can't speak highly enough about her work! His hair looks AMAZING! He even stated "this is the best haircut I have ever had!" We will schedule with her again! Great work!!! Service: Hairstyling ~Stef

This place uses an online check in process that gives you an estimated time for your turn. I agree that I cut it close because I had to go back home and get a credit card in case they didn't take Google pay. But I was still there by the time the person was checking out ahead of me and they still pulled in the person that was number two in line even though I was clearly listed in the number one slot and I was there on time for my appointment. I have had good experiences in smart style and have had bad ones. This most recent experience was a disappointment. The stylist was not experienced with my ethnicity and hair type (Hispanic). I was very unhappy with results and went in to get a refund my first time ever . They were reluctant but granted my money back. Adding this is my one and done refund. I will add to that, this recent experience is my one and done. Won't make same mistake twice of going back to smart style. A true stylists will be well versed in all hair types, African, Hispanic, curly , course not just one type. Also customer service is lacking. I felt very much unwelcomed there. But lessoned learned.
