I have had good experiences in smart style and have had bad ones. This most recent experience was a disappointment. The stylist was not experienced with my ethnicity and hair type (Hispanic). I was very unhappy with results and went in to get a refund my first time ever . They were reluctant but granted my money back. Adding this is my one and done refund. I will add to that, this recent experience is my one and done. Won't make same mistake twice of going back to smart style. A true stylists will be well versed in all hair types, African, Hispanic, curly , course not just one type. Also customer service is lacking. I felt very much unwelcomed there. But lessoned learned. They did an amazing job on my 18 month old son's hair an we actual stopped at supper cuts again cause that's were the first cut/barely a trim was done an he did o.k it being his very first time 8n barbershop chair an a strange lady touching his head bit didn't do great at super cuts great but they had almost a two hour wait this time so we went to Walmart hair salon no wait at all super nice did great job. with an 18 month old who is already nervous this was going to be his second cut an the first wasn't really a cut but a trim here he sat in big chair with cute Dino cover over him the lady was so nice an gentle an made sure to ask him is that ok is this ok it made him feel more comfortable so he even let her use the clippers on the back of his neck an around his ears now he loves showing if his new hair as he calls it . Lol I love this place it's where I'm going to bring him every four weeks

They did an awesome job on my hair color and cut. Only negative was she forgot to mention that the color she was using was temporary rather than semi-permanent so most of the color came out with just one wash. Partly my mistake for not asking and making sure they were using what I wanted

Stood there 10 minutes before anyone asked to help me. Then a lady finally did with green in her hair and she had an attitude. Saying its going to be a 25 min wait like I was a bother. I agreed and went shopping in walmart..came back 24 minutes later and the green haired lady came to the cash register and completely ignored me as I stood there. Do these people not understand they wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for people needing haircuts? Don't act like your above others and just stroll by with an attitude and ignore your paying customer. I walked out and will find a better more friendly place to go! Service: Haircut

Out of all the Smart Style Salons I have been to this is the first time that the stylist actually did my hair the way I wanted. She was super nice and I couldn't believe how fast she did my hair. Amazing job.

I went there yesterday morning to get a new look for my birthday and I have to highly recommend Treasure aka Ashley she is amazing! She gave me an awesome bob cut and dyed and highlighted my hair. I won't be seeing anyone else ever again! That girl needs a raise! Lol

First time really having my hair professionally colored so wasn't really knowing what to expect with pricing.. Was a bit more than I thought would be but really wanted it done. I do really like the color however she got dye on my forehead and cheek that she tried to get off but couldn't. Then when I got to my car I noticed dye all through my hairline around my forehead. For $163 I wasn't real impressed about having to walk around after with dye on my face. She blow dried it after and honestly it did not look very good. It was all frizzy. I fixed it myself when I got home and do like it but for the price I think they need to take the time to not stain your skin .
