Best auto body shop in Clinton, Maryland (MD) 2024

Tommy’s was excellent! I’m from out of state and got into an accident. This was the only auto body shop in the area that could take my car for the next month. Brian and his team were very professional and were able to get my car in and out within the week. They were very communicative and texted me photo updates. Added bonus: they are partners with the Clinton Enterprise so I was able to conveniently drop off my rental at the shop to pick up my car. Reasonable and very professional. I took my car in to Caliber for repairs after a hit n run. Caliber is a partner with my insurance company. From making the appointment, to picking up the vehicle after the repairs were completed everything went well. Enterprise is a few doors down and they pick you up from the shop and take you to their store to get your rental if needed. Heather’s (at Caliber) updates and communications were great, and Nakia at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Repairs were done on time and looked good. They even washed my car and cleaned the interior! I would definitely choose Caliber at this location again if I ever need service to any of my vehicles in the future. The repairs were ok (paint on my windows and such) but the Staff treated me as though I was stupid and the description my vehicle was inaccurate and they charged $2,000 more that the other shop that gave me an estimate and the charges were even more when I went to pay them. The Representative took it upon himself to have a "mechanic " look at my vehicle and said that other things wrong with my vehicle were not caused by the accident (oil leak)? I was not given any name of the so called mechanic nor was I given an estimate or where the mechanic worked!! Stay in your lane! Your company does body work and have no mechanics in your shop! I took my car to an actual mechanic and I did not have an oil leak! No stars for these people! The front desk staff was courteous but nothing more for the other Staff! Don't trust them. This is the second shop that I had an issue with within one month. The other shop in Capitol Heights is even worst! Service: Body & Trim ~Tarita
