Best bank in Frederick, Maryland (MD) 2024

After spending 208 min. holding to speak to a Truist representative I decided to call this location. This is the location where I had opened my accounts. I was placed on hold & after several min called again. The same women answered & from go was rude. She didn't want too hear or help me. Instead of listening to what I was asking she continously spoke over me, going round & round because she wasn't listening to my 2 simple questions. This is unacceptable to be treated this way. To be made to feel that my time wasn't worth hers because she thinks I work for her is unacceptable. She was rude, defensive & condescending. After this I would NEVER recommend banking with this bank (especially at this location). ~Juste

Kudos to Delonn Knowles and co-workers; My wife and I realized that our savings account was compromised, having money withdrawn without our Knowledge. We panicked, didn't know what to do and so we rushed To the bank for help. We were immediately directed to someone who could help us. A teller, forgive me for not remembering her name, recognizing that my wife was distraught, brought her a glass of water and encouraging words. Ms. Knowles quickly went to work applying her training and experience to the grave situation at hand. We quickly Realized we were in great hands. It was remarkable seeing how the co-workers became a team to help us in our time of need. We've banked at this Frederick location for year's, and so we can say without a doubt that “ALL” patrons are treated the same, like Family. We want to recognize the staff but especially Ms. Knowles, for her efforts and the empathy given to us. Their work ethic and team work truly represents the goals of The M&T Bank without any Or Little guidance. Your staff are true inspirations to those of us that cross their path. Representative of BB&T named Sergio, was very helpful, honest, and spent an abundant amount of time with me, explaining terms and conditions of different accounts, and was able to help me set up the account hat best suited my needs. After I received mail from my bank,I didn't understand exactly what the document was confirming, I called the local office, and to my surprise, the same gentleman who helped me open my account answered the phone. Sergio remembered who I was, and was able to clarify the statement, and the other mail I received from them. I love the fact that it feels like small town banking, and so friendly, however they have a large following, and banks in states that I frequent.
