Best auto repair shop in Ferndale, Michigan (MI) 2024

I went here on the recommendation of a friend. This is an incredibly honest, reliable, trustworthy shop. I initially went here to get my alternator replaced along with an oil change. After an inspection I was told there was further maintenance that needed to be done to my vehicle. I was told pictures could be provided to show what needs fixing and there was absolutely zero pressure to get work done aside from the issues I originally went in for. The work was done quickly, reliably and well. Honest good work was done here This is definitely going to be my new repair shop should work need to be done. Can't recommend this place enough. I took my 2020 Kia Optima in for some minor body work on the passenger wheel side and the finished product was terrible! There is a patch of rough spot and they let the paint dry in random parts of the seem with the wheel area and the front bumper. I could have done a better job myself! They called 4 hours before they closed to tell me the car was done. I was still working so I had someone else pick it up so I was not able to inspect it. Like really? You felt THIS was complete is all I could think when I saw it! It may have been more reasonable if it were closing time and you were just trying to get it back to me before you were closed the entire weekend! $1,900 for some very poor quality work. I am taking back for them first thing Monday to make it right. I will update my rating once I see the finished product. Services: Painting, Body & Trim ~Christine
