Best furniture store in Flint, Michigan (MI) 2024

Normally when I shop at Wal-Mart, which I'm a bargain/deal shopper so I'm there for hours at a time, employees are hard to find and aren't very friendly. It doesn't matter which location I'm visiting, I'm made to feel like an inconvenience, rather than appreciated for the fact that my patronage is what helps to provide that person/employee with a paycheck. TODAY, was not like any other day. Three, rather young, employees made today an extremely good day. The first young man, I'm not sure which department he worked in because he was just passing by, but he stopped and asked how another shopper and myself were doing. He asked if we needed help finding anything. We didn't need any assistance, but it was wonderful being asked because it does not normally happen, to me anyway. The second was a nice young woman with vibrant colored hair working in electronics, I believe. I happened to be walking by the area and witnessed her giving complements to another customer that was passing by. It warmed my heart to witness. Finally, the young man working the self-checkouts by the pharmacy was very friendly and helpful. He tried up assist me finding an item I had been all over the store trying to find. When he determined the item may possibly be out of stock, he then told me about where he personally saw it at a competing store. Corporate bosses may not like that, but I call it wonderful customer service! I'm a thankful shopper to have had my day made brighter! ~Rose

I do not recommend buying anything from this store. I bought my bed back in May the very first night my bed was making cracking noise. I called and they ordered parts and sent a service person to fix it took about 2 weeks. The service guy knocked my closet door off trying to fix the bed then said the reason was whoever put it together the first time had the posts too high which made the slates uneven. They drilled the slates into the side of my bed (which they were suppose to do) but that made the side of the bed on both sides crack. This is what holds my mattress up. I’ve been calling customer service and emailing the service department pictures of my bed and how it’s broken their response is we’re waiting on a response from the service manager. Every time I call I get the same answer. This is an unsafe bed and they do not seem to care. At this point they can have this bed and give me my money back because I can give someone else my money who can provide what I need. ~diondra
