7 Best discount store in Lansing, Michigan (MI) 2024

I would give this store 5 stars if it was not for the fact that their computers/registers are always glitching and breaking down. This is almost always a daily occurrence, but not the fault of the employees, they're just trying to work through it constantly. They're good people, very helpful and positive. If we need something D&G has it at low cost. Can't complain about that! ~Krista

When you speak of customer service. This store has it done pack. I was in this store on Sunday June 5 at 10:45 am I left my phone not only did the associate run out the store to catch me. When she could not catch me she put the phone up until I returned. What a surprise. She was so nice and saved me phone having to get a new phone. Thanks ~Felecia

Typical Family Dollar but the employees and management should be ashamed at how disgusting the premises looks outside the building... nothing but trash scattered everywhere and it's been like this for years. Not an inviting look for any business. Those trashing our city like this should also be taking more responsibility to not be such trashy people and littering the environment everywhere they go. ~Michael

The manager Jane I believe is her name was pretty rude and snappy. I needed cash back ( cause you know that’s what the store offers) she was a little hostile about having to give me cash back. She made a comment “there are atm’s and banks around” . Like honey I understand that. But if I’m spending money here at your store then cash back is most convenient right now. DONT OFFER CASH BACK IF ITS AN ISSUE or if the “store doesn’t carry that type of cash” Simple. ~Kalay

I had a great experience with a polite staff in this store. James and Montaeja are great workers with a very kind and helpful attitude. These two people insure that I will visit this location again. ~Chris

Gosia helped me today & she was totally awesome! She was attentive but didn't hover, she was kind but informative, and in the end she helped me find exactly what I was looking for for way less than I thought I could get it! Thank you girl!! This was my first visit to the West Lansing store, & I had so much fun browsing! The merchandise and prices were very impressive! I'll definitely be back!! ~Phoenix
