10 Best convenience store in Lansing, Michigan (MI) 2024

I would give this store 5 stars if it was not for the fact that their computers/registers are always glitching and breaking down. This is almost always a daily occurrence, but not the fault of the employees, they're just trying to work through it constantly. They're good people, very helpful and positive. If we need something D&G has it at low cost. Can't complain about that! ~Krista

When you speak of customer service. This store has it done pack. I was in this store on Sunday June 5 at 10:45 am I left my phone not only did the associate run out the store to catch me. When she could not catch me she put the phone up until I returned. What a surprise. She was so nice and saved me phone having to get a new phone. Thanks ~Felecia

I cashed my paycheck at the ATM and bought 2 beers.. I discovered the beer cans was dented and banged up to the point if I would of opened em they would have exploded. LOL The senile clerk called me a liar after notifying him.. I didn't ask for my money back I just walked out before I b#$ch slapped him. The clerk suffers from dementia and needs to seriously consider retirement. He is lucky I am patient with senior citizens because it could have been way worse for him.. Trash store and trash staff! ~RyRy

IDK. On the one hand this store has been the liquor go-to store in this shady end of town. Props for surviving at the edge of civilization for decades. Selection is huge! The shelves are packed. Prices are high. Staff service can be spotty (nice, mean, helpful, disinterested, etc). Nobody would accuse them of being a clean store. Last, is it Rainbow (as listed on Google) or Aragon (as shown on the sign outside the store)? ~Mandolinman58

They have the friendliest employees working for them 😊, I always enjoy going in there to grab a cappuccino in the 🌄. I just wish your Holt store would carry the cappuccino machine ☹️, they used to before the 🔥. Always enjoy the store on Cavanaugh and Pennsylvania Store, kudos to the outstanding manager, managing your store 👍. ~Rose

I have always loved Speedway…. Always stopped for Mocha Charge coffee, fuel and back on the road…. At least once a day. Now all the locations don’t have Mocha Charge? Is it coming back? ~Kimberly

If I could put negative stars I would. They were closed due to not enough staffing which is fine. I called the 800 number to the photo spot to see if I could cancel my order and she said that she can’t do it but that she can call the store for me as I was waiting at curbside as instructed. So she merges the call and the manager at this location explained the staffing issue and said she can’t bring me the photos. So then she asked my name to look up the order for cancelation and claims I only thought I sent the photos there as she does not have an order for pickup. I explained that my email specified to pick them up at this location and even had her confirm the address. She kept speaking down on me with zero empathy and saying I should call around to the other stores and see if they have my order. She was terribly rude and unprofessional. Trying to make it like I had sent them to a different store when I can show the confirmation email but she didn’t want to see it cause she knew she was wrong. ~Mary

I used to love Walgreens. All of them seemed to have wonderful, helpful staff that remembered your name. But I've seen a change in the last 5-10 years. Some of these people they've hired are not customer oriented at all. In fact, they probably don't know the definition of customer service. I've had outright snobs and choppy grudgy customer Representatives. It's crazy! While I was going to college I had so many different customer service jobs and I always treated my customers the best no matter what. Even if they were rude to me because that's my job. I still like Walgreens and I'm not throwing everyone in the mix but some people nowadays are what Wayne Dyer calls clerks of the world. ~SMEP

Done business with this place off and on for long time. Casual most times, but other times not so pleasant. Owners only want your cash. They would not go out of their way to help you. And they sell lottery too. But if you win on lottery they will not pay out the 4 or 500 dollar that the lottery requires them to do. So save your time and don't bother asking cuz they'll tell you that they don't have the money. And when they tell you come by and check back later, NOT. Won't happen. Have had this problem more than once, not isolated encounter. Had an encounter like this on November 20 or so and after a discussion about it with owner haven't been back since. 1/23/18 ~rick

I was just in this little convenience store and whoever the dark-haired lady cashier was she was fantastic. She is very great at customer service your store should be proud to have her as an employee!! ~Dawn
