Best hair salon in Coon Rapids, Minnesota (MN) 2025

I brought my 16 yr old daughter in for her first professional hair cut and highlights with Tiffany. We had a pleasurable experience there with the two ladies who were working, the shop was clean and they were helping all clients respectfully. My problem is with the actual highlights. They do not look like high lights at all it looks like she dyed her hair all blonde and there are horizontal lines of blonde throughout the back of her head(assuming this is dye bleeding). Very disappointing for her first time. Now she's insecure of her hair. Wish we would have noticed while we were there but didn't see it till the next day. Won't be returning. I wish I could give them 5 stars as they do have some great hairstylists. However today I went in for a haircut and beard trimb and things went bad. The stylist started trimming my beard which isn't normally what any other stylist have done but no worries yet. Well the beard trim started out bad and as she started chasing issues in my beard it only got worse. I just agreed that the beard was fine so I could hopefully salvage my beard without having to trim it all the way down. She asked if I wanted beard and hair edges lined up and I said yes but there is no lines created for the edges of my beard or neck. My haircut is fairly simple as it is a 1 on the side and medium high fade to a 1.5"top. The start and stop of the fade are uneven and choppy at best. It's unfortunate that I will either need to trim my own beard to fix it or go to another place to fix this mess. If times are close to the same I would go to the Champlin or Blaine stores, especially if you are looking for a beard trim. ~Eric
