Elite Supermarket & Grill

Let's be clear, if there were other options that were closer, cleaner, and weren't flat out price gouging then they wouldn't make so much of the BLACK DOLLAR. Pay attention to the owner...the community "trusts that he is cool" so much they ignore the fact that he is stealing from you at check out. Prices change repeatedly and I'm over it. Less than 12 hours I get charged a manual higher price than what was scanned the night prior. WE HAVE DIAPER BANKS AND NON PROFITS THAT WILL GIVE YOU DIAPERS AND SANITARY ITEMS FOR FREE...Don't trust every "I got you, boo, baby, my man" Elite is scamming the black community. People hype it up because it's nothing over here...everything is trash and un-kept. Do better BADEN!! ~M

Dierbergs Markets - Warson Woods

This is the first Dierbergs I ever set foot in when I moved to Missouri in 1996. They were playing classical music overhead and everyone was wearing aprons and bow ties. Things have changed quite a bit since then but they still have a great selection in a well laid out space. They are not particularly good price fighters but they do have great quality products; particularly if you are having a hard time finding something, this is the place to look for it. They are my go-to spot for fresh mushrooms in particular. ~C

Fields Foods

Good morning to all. Allow me to share my experience this morning at this location. A little bit of history, I was a cashier there back in 2014/15. I resigned due to the treatment of employees, specifically the women. I walked in this morning and the manager ED was on duty and behind the counter. I grab a case of water and place it on the belt. He began to remove his items from the front of the belt. I step to the front and waited for him to cash me out. He scanned the water and slams it down on the counter. I didn't say anything. He didn't say sorry either. As he is cashing me out, he is texting on his phone, not paying attention. As he hands me my receipt, I said thank you and proceeded to walk to the front door. He is still texting on his phone, waited until I was almost out the store to say you're welcome. I have nothing to gain by posting this review. He is a mean and nasty individual. I work and live in the area and I like the store but I will not tolerate him being rude to me every time I come in there because he is in his feelings. Please address him. Thanks. ~Chakramomma
