Elite Supermarket & Grill

Let's be clear, if there were other options that were closer, cleaner, and weren't flat out price gouging then they wouldn't make so much of the BLACK DOLLAR. Pay attention to the owner...the community "trusts that he is cool" so much they ignore the fact that he is stealing from you at check out. Prices change repeatedly and I'm over it. Less than 12 hours I get charged a manual higher price than what was scanned the night prior. WE HAVE DIAPER BANKS AND NON PROFITS THAT WILL GIVE YOU DIAPERS AND SANITARY ITEMS FOR FREE...Don't trust every "I got you, boo, baby, my man" Elite is scamming the black community. People hype it up because it's nothing over here...everything is trash and un-kept. Do better BADEN!! ~M

Circle K

This place is disgusting. I used to come here weekly about two years ago when I worked in the area, but I always paid at the pump anyway. We had to go inside to use a fuel discount and my wanted a froster. They didn't have a froster machine and that's good because I wouldn't have trusted to buy food from this location. It had a powerful mildew smell with an overlay of bleach. Clearly the bleach isn't fixing the problem, so try something else. It's weird, because this is such a nice area and the QT that's 100 yards away is glorious. The smell can't be healthy for anyone working there and I think if you develop a sickness, you'd have a strong case against the establishment. Overall, Circle K usually has nice buildings, but this is the nasty exception ~The

First Community Credit Union

Are they malicious or incompetent? I try not to assume the former when the latter is still a possibility. I do, however, believe their system is generally designed to make it as difficult as possible to make a loan payment. Since I initiated my loan I received no communication on how to pay my loan or when the first payment would be due. Once it was late, I did receive notices indicating this which continued to lack a method of resolving this. Once I'd sorted through the tedious and obnoxious process of creating an online log in I could still clearly see where my loan was recorded and behind but absolutely no functionality whatsoever to allow me to pay it on the website. No coupon book, no address to send payments to, no bill, nothing at all. I tried calling, but I was transferred and after 15 minutes of silence disconnected. I was about to call again but then I finally found the option buried in small, small print on the far right of the web page labeled ambiguously as "pay external loans" or something to that effect, which for whatever it sounds to be is actually the option to pay a First Community loan using an external account. So hopefully I'll be able to get the money I do have to whatever routing account it needs to go to in the labrynthian black hole of informative but ultimately useless widget riddled UI they've developed. If frustration is your thing, then by all means this is your lender. If not, pick another institution. ~Matt

Lindell Bank

Their branch did not have any $100 bills and could not cash my 3k withdrawl... 3k is not a lot for a bank and that's where you're supposed to go for money.. banks are supposed to keep a certain amount of money on hand who messed up? ~Becky
