7 Best bank in Greensboro, North Carolina (NC) 2024

For the life of me I can’t understand why the atm is broke every week!!!! How are you a major bank and every time I come to get money out the ATM it’s broke?? I have to drive clear across town to get money out of the ATM!!!?! This is very inconvenient. ~Dorian

Five star customer service! I scheduled an in-person appointment at this location to implement a change that I could not make online. Shyige was very knowledgeable, friendly and detail-oriented and went the extra mile to assist me with my accounts. ~Constance

I have been having problems with this branch since my branch closed for the merger. For moths employee morale has been awful, customer service and any bit of personality has vanished. Today at 12:30 I went to the branch to make a deposit and the doors were locked, no note or notice of any kind on the door. The drive-thru where the wait time is typically around 45 minutes was also closed, no note, no notice. The weather is clear and there is no known holiday. 6 cars are in the employee parking area so I assume people are inside of the branch, they just aren’t helping clients at this time I guess. So much for dependability. What a joke! ~Dustin

Awful experience. Had a unique situation regarding a members paycheck that did not get direct deposited. As the employees employer I felt I needed to get the check deposited into his wife's account. (which is where he had his direct deposit coded to go) They were out of town for their anniversary and it was my responsibility to get the money in their account. Beth at their branch in Mt Airy was extremely helpful in researching to find out why the money was not deposited. I went to the branch on New Garden Road in Greensboro with check in hand, where I was met by a prissy female manager who did not take the time to let me explain what I was trying to do. She just said it couldn't be done. She did not even try to help me resolve this situation. I proceeded to my bank where I cashed his check and took the check back to the New Garden location and they gladly took the cash. No star was not an option! ~Nancy
