10 Best furniture store in High Point, North Carolina (NC) 2024

Very disappointed that Target in High Point had foundation and lip sticks on sale, but once I was ready to pay they said it was a mistake and I had to pay the full price. I could had went to any other store and they would had adjusted the price due to their mistake, but not this Target. ~Brenda

Some of the most beautiful furniture, lighting, accessories, art and leather furniture showrooms are pround to call 200 Steele home. This build is "Not open to the Public." However, it is available for weddings and special functions. ~Peggy

From the purchase to the delivery of my furniture, Furniture Clearance (HP location) did right by my family! The prices are very reasonable and financing is offered through Progressive Leasing ($52 down). Greg allowed me to shop in peace without being pushy as I’ve been accustomed to at other furniture stores. The item I wanted was in stock and was delivered the same day! The delivery team (Chad and Lucas) took the time to ensure they entered my home safely and even set up the furniture. I look forward to doing business again with them! ~LaToya

VERY DISAPPOINTED in the quality of hardware they use (see pics). Although the wood construction is good, Stanley chooses to use garbage plastic drawer glides that break - constantly - and they refuse to cover them under warranty. Both my daughters have Stanley bedroom sets, and they both have had this issue numerous times. The plastic glides on the drawers simply cannot hold the weight of a loaded dresser drawer (and these are little girls' clothes -they don't weigh much). It's a bad design, and a poor purchasing choice. Avoid years of frustration and go to Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn, et al that use higher quality parts and who will stand behind their products. ~Paul

This company is God awful for one reason. You can't miss a payment by even a few HOURS or they HARRASS you with multiple phone calls a day. On the Friday that my payment is owed they call me up to 5 times until I go make a payment. 5 times and the payment isn't even LATE YET! There have been times as well where I have called them and told them I would be late paying and they still harassed me. Do not go here. ~Maximos

Do Not Purchase anything from this company!!!! High Point Furniture Sales and their chosen delivery company offer little to no customer service! Once they get your initial deposit you are at their mercy. Do Not purchase anything from this company online unless you are willing to wait an unspecified amount of time for your furniture. Delivery dates are not prearranged, instead they call you and tell you the day they will be in your area and if you are out of town on that particular day you are out of luck. Bottom line, once they get your deposit you are at their mercy and they simply don’t care? The delivery dates are based on a “ truck driver lottery” system where you better hope you are in home on the one day they are in your town. I have been waiting for months on my furniture and finally received a call from the delivery company and they only gave me one date when they would be in my city. The problem is that I am out of town on a previously planned business trip. The company did not offer an alternate delivery date and stated they will call in the next 2-3 weeks and let me know when they will be in my area again. I can only hope that day does not conflict with any other previous plans or family issues. Otherwise this has the potential to go on indefinitely. The customer has no ability to set up a delivery date. Of course, their refund/cancellation policy is so that the customer is the ultimate loser. I would request a cancellation but would lose my deposit and end up paying these clowns $500 for nothing. Again, don’t buy anything from these guys because High Point Furniture Sales and their chosen delivery company are not customer focused. I spoke with Larry and he gave me the run around and in essence stated it’s my responsibility to be available on the one day they offer delivery. They stated they have been in business for 35 years and have followed the same process. If that is the case, they have been doing it wrong for 35 years! In the meantime, I am waiting on the “truck driver delivery lottery” to see when and if my furniture will be delivered. Where is the customer focus and semi-willingness to offer an alternate delivery date? I don’t want to wait until the next time the driver is in my area (currently time is unknown) and hope we are available. Thanks, High Point for your understanding and support (Sarcasm intended) but words cannot express my true disdain for how this operation is being ran. ~Hal

My husband and I recently moved to a new home and virtually furnished our entire home with American Design Furniture by Monroe. By the way, they don’t just sell traditional furniture. What we bought was mostly contemporary or transitional. We have bought a lot of furniture in our lifetime and could not be more impressed with the quality of the furniture. We checked out the quality at their warehouse in Richmond but just about everything we bought from their website we bought sight unseen. Besides the quality of the furniture, we very impressed with Dianne and Donald’s professionalism. Very service oriented, they delivered on every promise and deadline. They made things easy. And I should mention that the prices are very reasonable. ~Peter
