Best furniture store in Newton, North Carolina (NC) 2024

I really love this rent a center. They have always went above and beyond for me. Yes, they do tell life stories. But ya know, that helps build customer relationships. If I was ever going to be late or wasn't going to be able to make a payment these fine people worked with me in every possible way. I wanted a brand new washer and dryer, they went out of their way to pick a set up from Mooreseville and delivered them to my house. I have been doing business with this store for a very long time and I have never had an issue with any of them. Yes, they do have some merchandise with scratches and dents. But that's them giving people chances and them not taking care of them or damaging the product before it gets returned. I'll keep doing my business with them because they always do right by me and get me whatever I want. Thank you Newton Rent A Center! 😊 ~Julia

I have been searching for a full size platform bed frame for my daughter that has to have it within two days for college. I have tried to get one online and use store pickup from Shelby, NC to Boone, NC with no luck until the Hickory store said they had some in Newton, NC. I preceded to call the Newton store and asked could I pin one down and Vince (employee) tells me they have plenty then I ask if I can just pay for it over the phone or how can I get the pickup option. As I would be traveling an hour and a half away to get it. He preceded to tell me he only has one and I explained my travels to get to him and he did say he would put my name on it but when I asked for his name he hung up on me. I called the store back and told Nicole my situation and she only reconnected me to this man. This is when I asked his name and he said he thought I was finished with the conversation. I told him if he is busy he can call me back but I have questions. He said he’s not busy and he rudely revealed his name and answered my question shortly about a bed in a box. He didn’t want to answer any details for the bed in a box either. I’d hope you all would definitely let him know this is not a good way to do any business. I can pretty much assume he is an hourly employee that is a clock watcher. No cares about the customer is the least I can say. ~Nikki
