Barnes & Noble

I love going to Barnes and Nobles and I am a total book lover. There are so many different kinds of books here, gifts for anyone or occasion and a coffee shop thrown in so what's not to love here right? I like seeing books about politics, different hobbies and what authors I can discover. I have a hard time leaving Barnes and Nobles once inside. There is a public restroom there too. ~Colette

SEPHORA inside JCPenney

I'm all about representing your brand. Today was the third time I went into the new Sephora in West Acres, and for the third time I was so disappointed. Their beauty staff was disappointing. Make up or not, last night party hair, faded black outfits and blue masks weren't the worst of it. I wanted to walk in there and BUY MAKEUP, not wonder how or why they would hire people that didn't walk and talk the look, feel and specialization of what Sephora is. The make up that was worn, didn't complement skin, tones or trends that glow on social media, or should at all be invited in our daily routines. No individuality, no spark and absolutely no desire to represent the brand. While I was asked if I needed anything 20 times, I waited in line for 30 min just to set the things I wanted aside as the girl with the non blended blue eyeshadow knew she lost a customer because of the lack of help of her team mates. Ulta you have me...... ~Danielle

JOANN Fabric and Crafts

I usually shop the Fargo ND location for all of my crafting needs. Have always had good experiences, but today was the worst service I’ve ever had. I went to buy 40 sheets of paper to make flowers for my wedding. They only had 33, so I was going to order more. Some sheets were marked .79, others were marked .99 of the exact same paper. I asked a clerk about the difference in price and she was rude and acted like I was irritating her just by asking. I asked for help at the cashier and was told that since there was a recent price increase, I’d have to pay 2 different prices for the same paper and there was nothing they could do about it. Then she told me it would be on sale for half price in 2 weeks. So they wouldn’t discount .20 on 11 sheets of paper, but I could come back and buy them for 1/2 off later?! Ridiculous! Managers can help customers with things like that, but they’d rather have an upset customer. I’ll shop elsewhere from now on. ~Rikilynn

Seventh Avenue Auto

Needed a master switch for my 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. So easy! Gave them the specifics, they take a name and number and call when it's ready. Then it's just go to the 1st door and get the invoice (after paying over the phone), and then to the shop door to pick up the part. So much easier than I remember 10 plus years ago. Highly reccomend! ~Michelle
