Poor return policy, have receipt and not worn shoes and they only allow 3 returns per year. Had double foot surgery and hard to find shoes. I have shoes to return and unable to do it!!

I didn't find what I wanted. When I did my size, one of the more common, was gone. 1980s Soviet Union comes to mind for the better products. Perhaps when Senile Joe is history shelves will be full again.

Good selection of shoes however the customer service SUCKS. I was basically standing around for an hour trying to figure out what kind of shoes I'd need for hiking that would work with my feet and nobody came over to ask me if I was doing alright or if I needed help. No one said anything anything I walked in the door. You should always service your customers. Half the time the employees were standing around doing nothing, and walked right by anyone who looked like they needed help. Very disappointed

I went there to find shoes for a funeral last minute, and the employees were extremely rude. As I walked in the door, one of the employees was following a gal around the store to tell her to put her mask on. I understand that the girl needed to be wearing a mask, but the employees were making a big spectacle of it. I began looking for shoes and noticed one of the employees was also following me around the store. I had my mask on so I didn’t understand why she kept following me. I made it a point to go straight across the store to see if she would follow me and sure enough, she was right there. It was almost as if they thought I was a thief. I purchased about $75 worth of items there, gave them all of my info- my email, street address etc. Why in the world would I walk out with something? Overall, it was an awkward and unpleasant experience. This place has a great selection of shoes, but I’d pay more somewhere else not to have to deal with the employees there. Customer service has become a dying art.

Got me a really great pair of timberland boots there. Staff was friendly and it was easy to shop the selections available. Price was identical to prices online at Amazon etc.

I ordered shoes as I wanted them for a special event and was told they would arrive in time as takes 4-7 days. They won't arrive in time and will be arriving on the day I leave so this doesn't do me any good. I had received an e-mail that stated "Hang tight- we have received and are still processing your recent DSW order. We will notify you as soon as your shipping information is available. Don't worry, your order will still arrive in time." I wasn't e-mail that they had been shipped and had to contact the store and they are due to arrive the day I leave so now I have to go out and purchase another pair of shoes for this event. Not a happy customer at all!

There are so many options that it can be overwhelming, but that being said it's great to have a place in town that has so much variety. I could have easily spent $500 in shoes, but of course the shoes I wanted weren't in my size. I know you can order online and ship to store, so I will probably do that.
