6 Best pizza restaurant in Akron, Ohio (OH) 2024

Good food and service here. Stick to the seafood dishes and you’ll be happiest! Salads are fresh and fine but not knock it out of the park - a recent one I got was a great size but needed another ingredient or two to make it shine. The “dip” the bread comes with is just balsamic salad dressing which was disappointing. The fried artichokes are a must though! ~Kaylan

We love this store! I keep seeing people giving this location bad reviews. Our family has ordered from here many times, always pick-up as it's too far for delivery. We have one a bit closer, but feel this one is worth the extra few minutes drive! We've always had awesome food, prepared exactly how we like it. Especially tonight when we ordered! Marcos Pizza itself as a business is pretty good service with a smile.... Younger generation for employees as to be expected but are very respectful andisplaya good work ethic. The pizza could be a whole lot better is there only downfall not something I would pay for again.. ~Cassandra

DeCheco’s Pizza is definitely one of the top pizza places in the entire Akron area. To date I have ordered: cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, New Yorker, spicy heat lovers, Nashville hot, and Philly cheesesteak. They haven’t been off mark a single time. Pizza is always delicious. The traditional crust is thick and toppings go to the edge. Perfect amount of crisp. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The buffalo chicken pizza is unique offering a blue cheese sauce. This was actually super good. The New Yorker has one of the best flavors I’ve ever had. You can taste everything and it combines so well. The Nashville hot: I’ve had similar pizzas, but none that actually hit the mark. The others are just as good. In this area, if you are a Luigi’s fan then you will also like DeCheco’s. I placed an order for delivery 5.4 miles from their store to my house 15 minutes after I place the order they call me up and say oh we don't deliver there so that I'm left with no food on the way while I'm trying to study I have class in an hour. They basically have denied me supper and then when I said you don't deliver this close they simply hung up on me. I will never give them my money again. I'm highly upset. ~Paul
