Giving five stars because the pizza was delicious and the service was friendly. Folks who don't frequent this shop should know there is no indoor seating. There is seating on a porch area in the front of the shop. It is right on a rather busy and loud street. The neighbors of the shop were doing work on their moped while we were there and the smell of gasoline was strong. Between the road noise and the off-putting smell of gas, we will make a better choice on our next visit and get it to go.

Are you prepared to taste heaven in every slice? From the friendly staff, to the tradition steeped in every pie created by Nathan, it is total pizza nirvana. Personally, I'd go with the white piggy, but you can't go wrong with red sauce as well.

Been ordering on average once or twice a week for almost a year now. I always get the BBQ Brisket. There's been times where the toppings were a little heavy or too much sauce. But lately, they have been more consistent than ever. So I figured what a good time to drop a 5 star and recommend you try them! Prices are fair for the quality, and the guys working are friendly. I will continue to be a return customer. Thanks guys!

1st time and last time. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza for my kids, 2 and 3. The guys were great and the pizza was good as well. I sat on their patio to feed my kids. The wind was blowing and half of my pizza fell on the ground in front of their couch.I spoke to Nate and I showed him that half my pizza fell. He said he was sorry and he couldn't do anything. I asked for the manager and he claimed to be the manager and said it's not his job to watch my pizza and that it wasn't his fault. I never faulted him but it would have been nice to offer a solution to the problem instead of being rude. I picked up the pizza of the ground, grabbed my kids and left. I guess anyone can be a manager nowadays. NATE really should find a different career.

DeCheco’s Pizza is definitely one of the top pizza places in the entire Akron area. To date I have ordered: cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, New Yorker, spicy heat lovers, Nashville hot, and Philly cheesesteak. They haven’t been off mark a single time. Pizza is always delicious. The traditional crust is thick and toppings go to the edge. Perfect amount of crisp. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. The buffalo chicken pizza is unique offering a blue cheese sauce. This was actually super good. The New Yorker has one of the best flavors I’ve ever had. You can taste everything and it combines so well. The Nashville hot: I’ve had similar pizzas, but none that actually hit the mark. The others are just as good. In this area, if you are a Luigi’s fan then you will also like DeCheco’s. I can’t wait to order again. *this is not a paid review.

So I go here a lot and this was the worst experience. First they shrunk their pizza and kept it at the same price horrible. They horrible part of this is I ordered good for a birthday party and I didn't have enough food. The pizza was ok but the chicken was a disappointment. The chicken was greasy and soggy like it had been sitting for hours. Some if it at light spots on like it was not completely cooked. I ordered at 4 45 and it said to pick up at 5 09 my spouse left to pick it up at that time and we only live like 6 min away he brought the food right back and this is what it looked like please see pictures. So I was so upset that I called to speak to a manager and all he had was excuses so I since he didn't want to fix the problem I told him I will never be back and I will take my business elsewhere. This is what I get for spending $89

I've been a customer since the first day they opened. The pizza has always been great. Today I was not pleased. We ordered our 2 pizzas that we always order and a large Jojo. One pizza was wrong, I called only to be told they'd give me a 10.00 credit on the 21.00 pizza I ordered or I could drive back to the shop which is 20 minutes away to get another one. That isn't exceptable. I've been a loyal customer for 29 or 30 years. I've never complained and to be treated like I was pulling the wool over their eyes is shameful. They treated me very badly. I love their pizza but they won't treat me like that.

I have tried Dechechos one other time. This time I really enjoyed the pizza! The Pepperoni and Pineapple pizza was very delicious!

Let me start by saying my Palette is used to a much different style Pizza. Ohio seems to use different ovens with different ingredients which is much different than the Tri State area of NY, NJ and CT. This Pizza was a cross between a deep dish and a regular Pizza. You place your order at a window or you can go online. Reminded me of Dominoes type of a set up. They were in the process of a gorgeous update on the day of our visit and was told they were voted the Best Pizza in the Surrounding area. The White Pizza is their Signature Pizza. The owners are Super Nice, engaging and loved to talk about Pizza which made for a great visit. 3.5 stars, I enjoyed the Sauce on the Regular Pizza, wish there was more of it. I would go back again when traveling through the area. People are Awesome.
