One of worst banks around. Cut hours are not reflected on website or voicemail when you call. They closed the downtown office, thinking it is okay to have to drive 12 miles to do business with them. Cut down the number of branches when other financial institutions are adding branches. Soon customers will go elsewhere and you can close all of them. ~Dusan

I don’t understand some of these reviews. I’ve never had a problem with this bank. They are very Courteous , respectful and engaging. This is probably the only bank that I’ve ever dealt with where they actually make you feel like you are genuinely important ! ! And to be honest I’ve had this feeling in every one of the local branches in the Harrisburg area love them!! Best bank ever! ~Terence

I worked with a banker from First National Bank with assurance that they will procure a commitment letter and refinance on the hospitality asset. After nearly 2 months of providing documentation on a very high cash flowing asset, said we don’t do hospitality loans. This could have been told to me in a single day. What do they do, they apologize, which doesn’t cover my loss of time and loss of another banks commitment and rates are now up. Do Not Do Business with this bank. The worst part about this is that I let go of another bank’s commitment letter. Take your business to Fleetwood Bank, Spiro Kasapidis. ~Dave

I had gotten and RV loan with M&T bank over a year ago. On November 5, 2021 I sold my RV and the buyer gave me a cashier"s check made out to M&T bank to payoff the loan. On that day I asked for a payoff letter so that I could go to the PA DMV to get the Title, but they refused to accept the cashier"s Check as "Cleared" and stated that it had to go through their Loan Department. Since they would not give me a payoff letter, I am unable to transfer the RV to the new owners until I get the Title. I still have not received a Payoff Letter or the Title and it has been over 3 weeks since I paid the loan off. I had to pay another month's payment on the Insurance for the RV at a cost of $122. I also am transferring warranties to the new owner which needs to be done within 30 days. To do so, the warranty company needs the new owners registration, which can't be done until I get the Title. I have made phone calls and I have written emails to M & T Bank to try to find out the status, but both of these methods have proven futile. I am just trying to expedite whatever needs to be done to get the payoff letter and the Title. The amount of time it has taken is ridiculous and this whole process should have been completed within 7-10 business days. I would steer clear of M & T Bank and if at all possible try to choose a local Credit Union or Bank to do your business. M & T Bank is to big for its britches. ~Howie

I stopped by this branch hoping they could help me with a bit of a complicated request. Lily Nkrumah immediately asked me to step into her office and proceeded to take care of everything I needed on the spot. I was pleasantly surprised, considering I did not have an appointment. She made my life easier today with her excellent service. Super nice people work here! ~Laurel
