Best tropical fish store in York, Pennsylvania (PA) 2024

Great place! The employees care a lot about the animals they are taking care of and are always open to care recommendations from people who are more experienced with specific animals, I saw they had sand in their baby leopard gecko tank and asked about it and they listened to me while I explained the dangers of the substrate and told me they would work on getting them another substrate. Also, I went in to ask about their bettas the other day because I was interested in adopting one later this week, and the aquatics person immediately asked me about my setup and water to make sure that the betta would be going to a good home. She let me show her a picture of the setup for feedback and told me how happy she was to see someone taking fish care seriously. The bettas were all alert and healthy looking, and when I noticed one who looked a little off I picked him up to bring him to the aquatics person. As soon as I picked him up he perked up and started swimming around and gill flaring just like the other fish! This is my favorite pet store since pet value shut down and I will absolutely be going back to get my betta from them! ~Winter
