Stop & Shop

This is the 2nd time this month where I encountered a cashier that was not helpful. 1st incident, I got in a line, placed my groceries on the belt, waited for customer in front to cash out, only to see that cashier go somewhere without saying a word. After a few minutes I went to another register. 2nd incident after ringing me up the cashier left, came back with paper and cleaner and proceeded to clean the belt. Usually I'll help bag if cashier is alone and I have a lot of groceries but the way she just left I decided to wait. After a not so friendly look she gave me the bags. What happened to the hi's , the friendliness and helpfulness?? It wasn't that long ago it used to be a more pleasant experience. This is not to say that this store doesn't have some friendly and helpful people , they do. And I appreciate them more every time. ~Maria

Cumberland Farms

I go here often. Overall, it is still my go to. But I have 2 suggestions: 1. Please have someone power wash the concrete outside. Not sure why all of the new Cumby's have light colored concrete...it looks really dirty over time. Add oil spills and people who leave gum there and it looks yucky. It's not the store's fault because they are all like this in the area. 2. Someone should be assigned to maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee counter/food areas and keeping supplies stocked during busy hours. There is one particular manager who I often view chit chatting with employees up front while there are things to be done and the counters are messy. I am not advocating for anything crazy, just nudge them to make sure they are aware. Thank you! ~Michelle
