I went in to have a shade cut for my window and waited 15 minutes . When the woman came to help me didnt have a clue ....couldnt do it...on my way out i said ill go to home depot to get it done and the two girls in customer service said HAVE FUN!!!?? REALLY? IT WILL BE HOME DEPOT FROM NOW ON!!

So, I typically go to the Lowe's in North Smithfield since I used to go there prior to my move, but yesterday I chose to go to this one instead since it is much closer. BIG MISTAKE. My fiance and I went in there to pick up some PVC pipe for a project, a door latch, some spray paint, and a couple of other things. We started at plumbing and found the pipe we wanted, but realized there was no possible way we would be able to get it in the car. I asked a passing sales associate if someone would be able to cut the pipe for us and he indicated there was a cutting station. Continuing on, we selected the pipe we needed and all of the fittings and went to see where we could get the pipe cut (so it could fit in the car at the very least). Found the cutting station, pushed the "help" button, and listened to the notification on the intercom and waited...and waited...and waited. I proceeded to reface the entire registers section while I waited, but after what seemed like 15 minutes and seeing multiple associates walk by and ignore me, I walked away proclaiming loudly that it was SO nice to get HELP when I needed it (in my experience, I am asked by employees constantly if I need help in places like this, not once this time). I walked out of the aisle and tried to get the attention of the first associate I could find, someone in hardware and he ignored me initially because he was cutting plexiglass, but eventually said something to the degree of "I will be with you when I am done." A few other associates just avoided us and refused to acknowledge us when we were looking for help. We ended up buying a hacksaw just so that we could cut the PVC ourselves so that it would fit in the car. TL;DR: Asked for help, didn't get it. Waste of my time and effort and will NOT be going back to this location.

Let me say I want to Lowe's I found what I was looking for no problem trust me. I spent over a half an hour at home Depot nobody knew anything was didn't have what I was looking for and all I can say was it was a waste of time. So all I can say is you know where to go as far as I'm concerned Lowe's it's the place to go.

I have shopped at Lowes before. I feel it's easier to find things I'm looking for because the store is well organized. There's plenty of signs telling you what's in each aisle.

Lowe's -- North Providence RI location. This review is only about a young man named Trevor who's a manager of the Garden Dept. Extremely helpful, polite, and obliging. Outstanding employee. Give Trevor a raise!

I always have issues at this Lowe's and it's organization. Product is on the wrong peg or box, or items they show as in stock online can't be located. The employees are nice enough but there seems to be only a few who can help I'm most departments. Waited over 30 minutes for Bob in plumbing. After 30 min, went to another improvement store and found the part in a couple minutes.

I've never had a negative experience at the Woonsocket, RI Lowes, the North Providence, RI Lowes, or any Lowe's, for that matter. Employees, for the most part, have always been friendly and helpful. Good job, Lowe's!

Very disappointed in this location. I typically shop at this lowes for various items. Today my wife and I went in to look at patio furniture. Two rocking chairs and a bench. There was a sign in from of these items that said clearance 40% off. We wanted to be sure that they were on sale so we brought a sales associate over to verify. He said all three items were 40% off and gave us the pricing for the items. We loaded them on a cart and brought to the front cashier. The cashier informed us they were not on sale. We then brought the sales associate that helped us to verify what he told us. He took a picture of the clearance sign and said that they we 40%!off. The cashier said she needed a manager to override the price. A manager came over and scanned the items and said they were not on sale. I brought him over to the area where the sign was. He said it only applied to specific items. The only items in this area was the rocking chairs and benches. Very disappointed in the service we received and the way we were treated. I will no longer purchase anything from this location or any other lowes location going forward.

I love my local lowes!! All employee interactions A+!!!. Items products/ sales.. But be warned shopping online for large Items, Garden furniture , etc . promises free shipping. But was unknowingly charged !!! Not happy with this my Lowes is less than one mile away ??
