This place has changed a lot since I last used visit it back in 2017-2019-ish. New staff brings in a really nice vibe, they're super genial and put in a lot of effort to make the patrons feel at home. I highly appreciate that Cross Street has really good (actually filling) sandwiches and pastries for bites, in addition to the robust tea and coffee menu. I notice the staff always seems to be tailoring beverages to a patrons specific likes, which I've never seen before in a coffee place and think is super nice of them. Best of all, there's always somewhere to sit and hook up a laptop (which is great for me as a remote worker who doesn't want to be stuck at home all the time!) Would 100% recommend as a pit stop, a place for a quick bite, or a hangout with buds.

Such a cute coffee shop and it has a lot to do with the fact that that staff is SUPER friendly and accommodating! We had our pups and took turns ordering while sitting outside and they brought us everything we needed to just chill outside and we're great all around! Good food, good coffee, exceptional service! 👍

The coffee shop I would move to Ypsi for, if I could. Bella is the best barista (oat milk latte and oat milk matcha latte, always with cinnamon) and a mighty fine human. They made my breakfast both mornings I was visiting Ypsi. My Sammie’s were (Southwest on Asiago bagel minus the salsa, add spinach and avocado ) just what I needed to soak up all the good stuff during my solo mama-get-a-way. Treat yourself and head to Cross Street Coffee in Ypsi.

It's bigger on the inside! Great seating options and great vibes; I could definitely sit and work here for a while. My iced Americano was delicious and the two baristas were so welcoming and helpful. Will be back.

Great place. This is my first time here, but I’ll be back. The atmosphere is grunge, but the tables and chairs are spotless clean. I suspect that the floors are clean, too — but it’s like somebody opened a great place to hang out with good coffee in their uncle’s old repair shop.

My boyfriend and I made this our new coffee spot because we love it so much! The owner is a great guy and runs this place extremely well. The workers are always ready to greet you with a smile and make your coffee just the way you like it! The atmosphere is beautiful and sitting outside is our favorite!

If you like grungy and watered down coffee this is perfect for you! First and last time going there! Not really inviting, and coffee is nothing to rave about! Gives me more of a biker bar meetup kind of place!

I absolutely love this place. It's one of those awesome hole in the wall type of places. Don't judge the outside and give it a chance! The food is great, the coffee is so good, not to mention the service. I've become friends with the staff as I am a regular and they always talk with me about how I'm doing or things we love. It's also a great atmosphere for studying or passing the time. It feels like a place where my parents live and that's hard to find in southern Michigan. I definitely recommend giving it a try. Also, they're remodeling so it'll look just as good on the outside as it is on the inside!

My partner and I are always here. The coffee is yum. Their pastries are yum. On top of that, their employees are awesome! The environment is chill. What can I say about such an awesome coffee shop? I mean, the coffee is even better than Starbucks in my opinion.
