I would not shop at this dollar general if your life depended on it. Sherry would not return my items when I came in to make an exchange. She told me that I needed to in “so many words” to go back to the Pinckney dollar general to return my items. It didn’t make sense to me because I live in Ypsilanti. I needed to make an exchange for a project that I was trying to complete for my class at Eastern. I even had a receipt for proof. I also asked her if she could call her manager to see if they could help but she said that the manager could not come in or that she wouldn’t be able to call. She wouldn’t even give me the store number for me to call to ask the manager personally. I also asked if there was a corporate number and she said no, that the store did not have a direct number. Over all I was just very disappointed with the service given that I’ve worked in retail and customer service for going on more than 10 years now. I have learned over the years that you try to do all that you can to help your customer and unfortunately I did not feel this way. I won’t be shopping or doing business here anymore. It was a horrible experience.

Appreciate the convenience, but the service of one individual employee that makes my shopping experience horrible everytime. She has made accusations towards me that I found offense, and proved untrue therefore she should be held accountable for her attitude towards customers, and the slander she spoke in front of several customers. She stated that she would not be disciplined due to lack of employees, not by managerment nor corporate. A thought; maybe work at another location where you won't think everyone is there to steal!! And let those who are walk out the door. Fact, several Witnesses..

Glad I took a chance and went back today. Thanks Carol for making my experience a positive one. Make sure I stop on weekdays. But my previous stop.... Hmm...Store cluttered with stock on carts and loud music was playing. Cashier was not welcoming. He was very disconnected.

The cashier was very rude. He never made eye contact. Was very loosely throwing around my stuff from scan to bag. Barely said anything to me and didn’t even spin around the bag carousel so I could grab my bag before helping the next person. He seemed friendly with the lady in front of me who he spent maybe 15 minutes helping checking her out. Not going back there again.

GLENDA was extremely helpful today! I bought some balloons for our branch anniversary!! She find out all balloons for me and helium it. I was there early in the morning when she starts her stocking!! Very friendly service!! Thank you Glenda!!

The absolute best place to buy first aid and otc medicine in area. The prices on their name brands are better than the chains and their store brands are far cheaper and as good as other retailers. DG is one of my money saving secrets.

This place is very convenient I like the fact that it's right next to the weed store I'm sure your business is going to pick up this store on like the last one that I went into. Was clean it was warm and the teller she was a little bit older she was trying to be friendly so I have to give this one five stars over 1

hey Dollar general thank you for your service and this time of crisis of the cover 19 we appreciate you being open and being available for the things that we do need on a daily basis sometimes you don't have the things that we need because people are buying them up and not being stopped from buying so many that the store runs out completely and there's nothing left for other customers to be able to purchase but I can say that we have been able to get some things from your store but please if you keep your stock up and trying to let the people know that there's only a couple of items that they can get of a certain water type of toilet tree and so on that is of convenient for everyone can you please look out for us that are in need of these items as well and not let people buy all the quantity up thank you and I appreciate you being open and still in business in this time of crisis thank you five stars for you guys.

I go in this store like 3 times in one week literally and maybe like 10 to15 times out the month I love it there and the stuff is great they have decent prices. I love the Male that works evenings sometime afternoon hes a great employee he always there when you need something and never has an attitude and the older woman god bless her heart your staff have customer skills and show alot of team work plus do a very good job keep up the good work 😘...ps I'm on my way there now have a good day
