Definitely was not going to dollar general to “buy underage”. Cashier assumed my 23 year old boyfriend was underage and refused to scan my legal ID. Kroger even takes one ID, it was simply a matter of convenience for us. We were really starting to like this location but unfortunately, due to the poor interaction, we will not be coming back.

I came in about purchased two balloons FROM the store, off the shelf. It was two large foil numbers that I got helium put in, but was refused string for them. I was told because I didn’t purchase their individual ones, they don’t come with string. I had to CARRY two giant blown up balloons in my arms from the store! Who doesn’t put string on balloons?!?!? Especially when purchased from them! I spent $3 on each balloon!

I've found the selection of stuff here to be pretty good, found some nice stuff. Self-checkout machine is a little wonky but otherwise okay. The hours are a bit strange though. On the door they have a sign that says open 9-12:30pm and 1:30-5pm. They have an hour gap that they're closed during the day. I also tried to go on a Sunday and the store was closed, so they may not be open on Sundays. You'll never have a problem finding a parking spot at least.

Prices are ridiculous at this store. A 10 pack of Bic pens rang up for 1.50 here. They are 1.00 at every other DG. Will never be back! Joke!

The only employee who seemed to be "working", when she wasn't on her phone she was walking freely throughout the store as well as while on the register without a mask? When there are signs throughout the store saying all employees, venders, customers etc must wear a mask while in the store!?

I was very pleased to not have been questioned about why I wasn't wearing a mask,with the exception of a fellow shopper that I let go ahead of me because she only had a few items in her hands versus my basket of items.☺️

Excellent Dollar Tree store and location in Belleville. It is organized, clean, tidy and we'll-stocked. The employees are friendly which makes it worthwhile to come to this particular store. My hubby even enjoyed on this late Sunday afternoon which is a change! Congratulations to the employees that work so hard to make it a pleasant shopping experience.

Good store. Staff friendly. Store is being remodeled so the selection is nice. The .manager needs to slow his role a little bit. Kind of rude and high tempered. Talked to himself a lot and I thought he was talking to me. When I questioned him about what he said cause I didn't hear him, he became very rude and diva like.

Easy access to quick needed items. Staff friendly although I saw some rude clientele acting rather mean to a young mother who had a carriage & a baby in her arms near the main doors where she stood so she didn't get wet, while she waited for a taxi. They wanted her to move further away from the doors which would have placed her near the blowing rain. My Medical Transport Driver stopped their bullying, not the check out clerks.
