Can we have the old management back? Free summer membership for teens!? I don’t expect much for $10/month, but this is a slap in the face to all paying members. If you like to feel like you’re in a high school gym class, sign up for this PF. Went to the gym yesterday and it was about 2x busier than normal because of this. Expect bathrooms to be dirtier than usual, long waits for an already limited amount of weights/machines, and higher Covid risk because of the crowds. All of the teens that were there were in groups of no less than 3 or 4, all following each other around in packs like they were in the mall food court socializing. I don’t mind working out with people of all ages, but this is just absurd. At the very least, they could restrict the free teen times to a small two hour window of time each day, or make them pay $2/month. If it’s free, people will just use the place to come to hang out and socialize, making exercise a nightmare for the rest of us. I’ve been paying for gym memberships since I was 14, there’s no reason to have a free promo for teens. I’ve been coming to this gym for 5 or 6 years, mostly because it’s a short walk from my apartment. Guess I’ll be finding a new gym unless this changes. I’m guessing a lot of other customers will be canceling as well. ~CrimsonGuy
