7 Best grocery store in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina (SC) 2024

After shopping and looking to cash out. I noticed there were no open cashiers. Everyone had to use the self check out system. Okay, no problem. Yes, a huge problem!!! Half of the cash out machines were not functioning properly. The one attendant had a hard time getting them together. I was in line almost 30 minutes. Totally not acceptable! Very glad I'm just visiting and passing through the area. ~Dezi

Aside from not having Apple Pay, this store has been great. We're new to the area so we never heard of this grocery chain before. But they have everything we need including organic produce and even California rolls, which were good! The team there is super nice! ~Tina

Great store...fresher than fresh green groceries...bakery is imaginative and yummy...great selection on shelves...staff like what they do including the shopping cart transport team in the hot low country heat. Parking easy... prices fair...Covid rules honored...nice plants ~Charline

So really liked this place, it's the first time trying it as we moved from Washington State a couple weeks ago. Couple of things that locals probably knew but you can shop and sip here, they sell draft beer and wine, love it! Instead of number checkout lanes they have street names! The store was very clean and the people were very friendly! ~Derek

It was super busy, parking we had to wait, but it was about 4 pm, people heading home from work Nice layout, nice variety of items, we bought wine, bouquet of flowers, and produce. Checking out, we had a super checkout cashier. Great place to shop. Restroom rating is a7 out of 10 scale. ~Mike

Publix has everything you could possibly want and then some. I called the prepared foods section of their deli and was told it would take three and a half hours to fill my order of 20 chicken wings. I realize that they are busy but when I spoke to the chef she was rude and basically told me to go somewhere else for faster service. I guess they're understaffed and it frustrates her. I have been shopping in Publix since I was a child in South Miami. I suppose I should shop elsewhere. ~Charles

My favorite store to shop. Always courteous and lines aren’t down the aisles. Friendly employees and if you can’t find an item they don’t just say aisle 4 on the right near the end. They take you to the product and show you where it is. That’s the kind of service I like. Also, I can always find an employee here if I have a question. Great store.😊 ~Tammie
