10 Best convenience store in Chattanooga, Tennessee (TN) 2024

First, let me say they deserve at least ONE star, because they can actually be very nice, while they waist your time. This review is not on a whim, and is well overdue. These pharmacists apparently don't know their job very well. They have waisted my time on too many occasions, until I finally changed pharmacies. They would assure me I can come pick my prescription up shortly, I leave so I don't have to wait in store, and come back only for them to tell me "We can't fill this yet". I always wait and make sure there are no problems like that before I leave, but it doesn't matter with these people. Most of the time they won't even call you or text you and let you know there's a problem so you don't waist a trip back out there. I even got to where I would specifically ask them "Will you please double check and make sure I'm not filling this too early?" They say "No, you're not too early, it'll be ready shortly". I come back, and it's the SAME thing, "We can't fill this for you yet, it's too early". So I tell them "The girl checked earlier for me and said it wasn't too early! Why would she tell me that? This has happened several times, so I specifically asked if I was filling it too early". They try to make a few excuses why she told me that, but none made sense. And one of the ladies says "Next time, tell them to make sure they check the"... blah blah whatever (can't remember because I was getting upset). Figure your own jobs out, people. It's not my job to hold your hands and make sure you know how to do your job and how to use your own systems. Asking "Will you double check and make sure I'm not filling this too early?" should definitely be clear enough. No matter what you do to try to prevent it, they WILL often waist your time. Oh, I almost forgot, one of the times they waisted my time going back out there, they ended up telling me "We can't fill this until Friday", which was in 3 or 4 days. But when I went back ON FRIDAY, they STILL said it was a day too early. I grew a few more grey hairs instantly. ~Chad

If I could give zero stars I would first cashier was very rude. at the Brainerd road location wouldn't provide bags for the items I purchased I had to bag my own items. I asked was it time for his lunch break. Very rude and no professionalism. The pharmacist returned from his lunch break but continued to eat and lick his fingers while serving customer. I left and went to the Walgreens in Ringgold where I received excellent service. ~Veronica

This isn’t my usual go-to spot for filling up, but it doesn’t really suit too well of an impression either when there are customers in the store (with one being there at the counter) and what appeared to be a manager scolding an employee (probably new due to the hand-written name tag). Not too sure what issue could have escalated to where this lady was scolding the associate with, “I’ve been here since 10AM,” (it was now 10PM), “Do you think I’m happy right now?” Work conditions are rough at the moment, and again I’m unaware of the situation, but scolding an associate in front of customers isn’t very pleasing to see or be around. ~J

Purchased lottery tickets and the cashier ‘Taliyah’ tried for maybe a minute to scan our ticket (small prize, but who cares? Still our money) she said “I don’t know how to type this in the computer” and just handed it back to me while shrugging.. okay then figure it out? Will not be back and will make sure non of my other chatt friends don’t go there either bc that’s straight terrible customer service. What if it had been more of a reward? Not her problem because it’s not her money? Ridiculous. ~Megan

Friendly staff, a good place to stop for a drink or snack. The gas prices are a bit higher than places a couple of miles further up Hixson Pike, but there's not much competition near here. ~Topher

Gas prices below national average and below downtown Chattanooga prices. Clean store that is fully stocked. Clean bathrooms. Great customer service. I bought three drinks from cooler and received $.10 off per gallon of gas. This stop saved me about $9.00 in gas. I was also able to go on app and trade Speedy points for fuel points. ~Chastity

This was the most caring place. I have been to. I love on lookout mountain and just happened to stop by there for gum and say this amazing sloth toy.. I just had to put my cat down so I was in a very depressed day. And this wonderful woman. So how happy this simply you gave me such joy . And got it for me. She is one of a kind. Browns ferry exit in Tennessee was the grossest rudest circle k we have ever been to. After traveling for 5 hours home from out of state we pumped a full tank of gas at 939pm at a 24 hour Establishment. We were told the restrooms were closed to us. The trash cans were overflowing all over the pumps area. The lady was outside smoking when we pulled up. We went across the street bought 20$ worth of snacks for the rest of our ride and they were kind and considerate to our family. I’ve given 3 bad reviews in 12 years. This lady was the absolute worst. ~Brianna

I miss the racetrack. Doing home project on property in Chattanooga and have been going for 12 days every morning to buy bread and coffee sense its near by, and not once have the offerd me complimentary coffee within 12 days, and now is when they tell me I have to be a member to get coffee at 69 cents. Terrible gastation experience. ~daniel
