5 Best gym in Johnson City, Tennessee (TN) 2024

Dropped into Thunder Valley Fitness when my family and I visited TN! A couple things stood out to me about this gym! 1. Their website drew me in. Compared to other gyms I was looking up.. their website was very easy to navigate and straight forward. 2. When I messaged the number on their Instagram asking about dropping in.. one of the owners called me! I was very pleased with how friendly, intentional and welcoming he was. 3. When we attended the classes, everyone was very warm and welcoming. You can tell this gym truly strives to set a family culture here! I believe that’s what can set a gym apart. & this one succeeded! The gym was very clean and organized. And the workouts were fun and challenging! Hopefully we will get to visit again one day! I would highly recommend Thunder Valley Fitness if you’re in the Johnson city area. ☺️ ~Morgan

My wife and I dropped in during vacation. AWESOME place with AMAZING owners. The vibe was great, and the people taking class with us were so kind. Mike and Holly (the owners) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. I know they do the same for each one of their members. Recommended 1000% ~Final

Underground Fitness is the best place to go get in shape! I have been going there for almost a year now and continue to be challenged in every class. The instructors are encouraging and very focused on making sure you are getting the most out of each class and always provide multiple levels at which you can participate. I love going to every class and love the Underground Tribe! ~Jennifer

I really wish they had this back when I was a student!!! Workout area is very spacious & has plenty of different machines & cardio equipment. Multiple basketball courts make it easy to get a game going. The pool area is great! The rock climbing wall is a great addition. Great job designing this! ~Mike

my son had his 5th birthday here, the coaches were awesome and all the kids had a great time! it was really easy going even with 15 kids! thanks! ~Ted
