20 Best gas station in Austin, Texas (TX) 2024

Literally never open! I have came to this place multiple times just to be turned away by a locked door. You can not call yourself a convenient store if you consistently inconvenience your customers. ~Keagon

I go to this location all the time, but recently, they don't have enough employees, and the store is often closed - with a paper sign on the door. I sat in the parking lot for over 15 minutes and watched as more than 10 potential customers stopped and left. Not a very efficient way to run this location. ~Lori

This guy had a "woman" banging on everybody's window and my window screaming and cussing saying that we cant park there and that if we dont leave that they are calling the police on us,it was bad weather and to dangerous to drive and then they were cussing at me in front of my children,i tried to upload video but i couldnt,we were only there bcuz there was a bad storm but we always go to circle k when bad weather and to dangerous to drive to hotel when we evacuate,nobody else complained except him and this woman that was working with him,i dont know who she is but didnt have name tag or uniform i guess she is new but she didnt have to bang on windows to cuss,yell and threaten to call the police on us for being parked if we didnt leave ~Caryn

This is no longer a Texaco, it is a 7-11 store. Very convenient, with genuinely friendly staff. Bathrooms are nice & cleam. T,he store is always fully stocked & is also impeccably clean and very well-run. Staff also works great together as a team. My favorite employee is a man named Wes. He works the night shift and he is always willing to help. As for my personal opinion of this particular employee is that I believe he has an award-winning personality and is a very valuable asset to this company. ~Esmeralda

DO NOT BUY THE HOT FOOD HERE. I stop at this gas station multiple times a day due to my work and I've seen the same hot food stay on the warmer for 5+ hours without being changed. ~Brandyn

Construction happening next door but they still doing business as usual. Friendly staff. Prices for fuel competitive. ~Stephanie

This place is not actually open to 12 most nights. They like to close early whenever possible. So if you’re in a pinch before midnight definitely go somewhere else. ~Hondo

Careful buying beer here- I bought a bomber of pumpkin beer for $15 and it had gone bad - wish I had looked at the date on the bottle before hand, it was over four years old! Cycle your stock guys! ~Wes

I come here almost every day for lunch at work down on 812 and Elroy Rd. The restaurant on the end, La Bonita, is truly one of my favorite of the 3 spots we go to eat when we're working. The waitresses are always so kind and funny, willing to laugh at any jokes and make it seem and feel genuine even if it isn't. They seem to never have a bad day. The cashiers at the food mart on the other side of the building are very nice as well, they never skip over asking if I want my receipt, and they have so much in stock it's like a home depot in the back, whatever you may end up needing they'll surely have it. 5 stars for the good food and La Bonita's wonderful staff, and 5 stars for the exceptional stocking of the Mustang Food Mart. ~Jenna
