Can’t help but believe most other reviews are fake (reviewers only have reviewed this one place, immediate glowing thanks from the “owner”) because our experience was the exact opposite. I don’t know that I’ve ever given a 2 stars before. Added one star because even though it was like being dragged through a car wash behind a car, we sorta came out clean I guess? Got a phone case that seems to work. +1 star.
Zero customer service. Associate seemed bored by having to talk to us. Rarely made eye contact when speaking, and otherwise put out by having to help customers.
We came in to port a line to AT&T. Even though we asked for plan info, cost, etc. the person helping us never explained any costs, transferred our number away from our old carrier without checking that it was unlocked (we had checked it on the website, and it had said eligible, but when he changed it over, it said it needed to be unlocked, but by that point their actions had apparently closed our account with our previous carrier, so we had to make another trip out the next day).
Oh. yeah. And he still hadn’t quoted us the cost at that point (which ended up being much more than we had expected to pay, but he had already closed our account with the other carrier.
We’re on day 2 trying to get support activating the Apple Watch line (literally the only reason we switched from Cricket to AT&T), and now when I called the store, the line was answered with”hang on a second” and immediately put on hold, and I’ve been sitting here for its dead silence for 15 minutes as of this review. Gonna hang up and see if anyone actually cares to answer. Not holding my breath.
Love our AT&T fiber, and had great service on that side, but the cellular service experience has been the worst. If I didn’t have a phone that I'm paying month-over-month, I’d switch carriers again today. ~Mark
