Whole Foods Market

I am upset as I purchased two cakes for $85 total. They are both ruined as the base is way to small for the large cake holder. So the cake moved around in my vehicle and was ruined by the time I went to the party I bought them for. Waste of money. I think someone should show them how to package the cakes properly. ~Ruby

Whole Foods Market

Impressively terrible store. I didn’t know a Whole Foods could be so bad. The hot food bar isn’t even prepared until nearly noon and only has basics: potatoes, beans, bland white fish, etc. And the salad bar is so minimal as to hardly be worth it. Today I discovered they only have creamy dressings so I went without. I ditched the hot bar for prepackaged food, only to get UNDERCOOKED shrimp. Literally undercooked. It was labeled as “Cajun Shrimp” but merely had wads of paprika caked onto the pieces (see attached picture). But mostly, the food bars are just empty (see pictures). The store is laid out awkwardly and counterintuitively. The Amazon Shipping Hub is in the very back of the store, sandwiched between deli meats and produce. I thought the cafe was permanently closed due to covid or something. Apparently it is open but just looks closed. They don’t believe in lighting, decor, staffing, or even cleaning. I only discovered it was open because of a running beer tap with no bartender. All the tables were dirty and guests were standing with their drinks. Speaking of the Amazon Shipping Hub, beware! They keep very different hours than the grocery store. I went there last night to pick up a package only to find the Hub closed. Next to me was a man who said he had been on the phone with Amazon for 20min because he needed his package urgently and nobody was there to give it to him. This trip took 30min out of my day and meant I had to come back the next day. When I asked the counter girl about the hours she was flatly rude and just said, “we keep different hours” as she walked away from me. I had to google their hours on my own. Lastly, restroom have been out of order all week. There is no signage except for a small piece of printer paper taped to a white tile wall that nobody can see. The exterior of the store is beautiful but the interior design is flat. Looks more like a Kroger. What an embarrassment to the brand. —-EDIT—- I had to back to this store for an Amazon package and was even more disappointed than before. The entrance was scattered with trash and leaves from not being maintained, the hot bar had only 5 stale items and the macaroni was mislabeled as “yellow potatoes”, and the lighting seemed more dim. Why is this store so sh***y? Management should be replaced and the store renovated. ~Emerson

very disappointed always get my cakes from here and the handwriting was not the best on this cake as it usually is:( the words were very messy and some letters you are barely able to make out… would rate this experience 2 stars but it did taste good but the handwriting definitely ruined it but this is so far my only complaint about whole foods all the other cakes i have gotten in the past were among the best. ~Isabella

ALDI

Let me start by saying we love and frequent this Aldi location. Usually clean and fast and always have positive interactions with the employees, until today. We had placed a pick up order for YESTERDAY, and had received an update at the very end of the day to say it was being pushed until the next day (today) and that we’d receive and update between 12-1p. Okay, no problem, they’re a busy location, no hard feelings. Keep in mind we’ve already been charged for this substantial pick up order that includes food and items for our infant. So today, about 2 or 3, we go into the store because we’ve received no information. My boyfriend, who has an incredibly patient, calm and understanding demeanor, approached a manager who was extremely short and dismissive, annoyed even. She got someone else to assist, not a manager, but he was very kind and willing to assist within his capabilities. He ultimately had to go back to the manager who is now at a checkout, and she threw her hands in the air and said “we’ll then he can just call the 1800 number, there’s nothing we can do”. Now, even if that were true, the attitude by the manager in handling this situation was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. This was a shortish Hispanic woman with dark and blonde streaked hair. Today may have been a bad day, but that’s not our fault. Reconsider your professional position if you’re unable to provide individualized and personable experiences to each and every customer. Especially those being kind and patient with you. ~McKenzie

Trader Joe's

I love where they shelf and place the coffee. I just wish they don't move things around constantly like some other places. The minute you figure everything, you have to go over again! Friday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday is not crowded, other times you can literally bump into people. Most folks who shop here are young and from the area I guess. Store has covered parking under the building but I always prefer to park curbside if I can find anything. It's just easier than parking in the covered garage. ~MAmiri
