Best paintings store in Houston, Texas (TX) 2024

Store 17 Armando Diaz is the man to go to. He helped me with all my problems. I’m not a painter but this guy explained me everything I needed. This guy definitely deserves a raise !! 10/10 ~Bilal

Terrible experience today at this location! I brought an old can of paint for him to make it again. He said he couldn't do it because the numbers didn't match. He still mixed something and the color didn't match. I said I didn't want it. I had to go to another Sherwin Williams location and they were able to take the old paint and match it. How come the other Individual didn't ask to match the old color? I can think nothing but negligence on his part. Don't go to this location, they are clueless! ~Jackie

I was very surprised my first time in this store. I was instantly welcomed and asked if there was something I needed help finding. I’ve never been to a SW paint store that had such a knowledgeable and dedicated staff. I’m pretty new to painting but the people here have taught me so many neat tricks and tips to the trade. Adam and his team set a new standard for customer experience. I’ll drive across town and pass 4 other stores just to shop at the firehouse store. Also their paint bag is worth every penny. I went from hauling 3 clunky plastic bins to one sleek bag. Thank you SW! ~Levi
