Best bar in San Antonio, Texas (TX) 2024

The atmosphere was great and music was awesome. 90s jams! Tuesday $5 steak. My 1st time & it was delicious. The 2 bartenders were quick and courtesy. Both gorgeous and the 1 with the tattoos. . . . you could stare a hole through her, wow! ~Richard

The atmosphere was good, good vibes. There were two bar tenders The shirt one with long hair had a bit of an attitude but the other one was amazing she was on point friendly n good at her job. Dude doing karaoke sucked but aren't they supposed too? Over all good time... ~Andi

Overall, the service started out great, and than went downhill pretty quickly. The girl I had as a waitress must've had other duties as assigned because I saw her working the area I was seated. I used my Chili's Rewards and I cashed in on a free dessert. Most other Chili's, if you have the app will generally just give you a free bowl of chips because it doesn't cost them anything, and I was by myself. No free bowl of chips here. I then ordered the (3) for $10.99. It has a drink, an appetizer, and an entree. I had a tea, a bowl of chili ($1 upcharge), and the cajun chicken pasta. The portion on the main entree was more than generous and so was the portion for the bowl of chili. (They forgot to bring out the cheese and chips for it but that was a quick fix.) Overall, I had to chase em down for the one refill I got and that was it. They looked like they had a few staff members working. So I figured I would've had a refill readily available. I might come back as long as they weren't busy. And when I got here today they weren't that busy and they sat me close to the bar. I figured since that area was empty, I'd have a better chance at better service. 3 out of 5 stars. Features: Social Distancing guidelines are not in effect or enforced. We went to Blue Star Brewing Co. for lunch. The beer is great and the service was excellent. Ask for Ashley when you go there, she was an excellent server. We had the Belgium double, called "Fun Fun", it was excellent. Then Ashley recommended the Barnstormer Quad. It was probably one of the best beers I have ever had. I had the super nachos with brisket. My wife had salad and soup combo. This was an especially excellent lunch excursion. I would highly recommend Blue Star Brewery for both their food and especially their beer. ~David
