Best fast food restaurant in Hampton, Virginia (VA) 2024

I ordered a combo meal. Instead of a drink I got a frosty. The drive-thru attendant ask me did I want chocolate or strawberry, I said chocolate. I paid for my food, said thank you to the not so friendly cashier, and drove off. I got home, ate my food, the burger and fries were good, frosty was good until I reached the bottom. The bottom was filled with strawberry (unbelievable). I was like, "why is strawberry n the bottom and I specifically asked for chocolate". The only thing that made since to me was they started filling the cup with strawberry and remembered I said chocolate and didn't want to get another cup and decided to put the chocolate over the strawberry in hopes of hiding it. Four things I thought immediately and they should have thought of as well. 1: I the customer asked for chocolate and that's what I should have received. 2. What if I was allergic to strawberry. 3. What if I had an allergic reaction from it. 4. Why couldn't I had just gotten what I paid and asked for. I know they're busy with so many orders from the drive thru, but sometimes I feel that some workers (not all) feels that it's okay to make a mistake and not correct it because most people won't go all the back to return it anyway. Everyone is on edge these days, because of the pandemic, inflation, gas etc. But remember small things matter too, especially when it can affect your health and life. Just be conscious of others. I'm not mad or upset, I love Wendy's and just wanted to make them aware. ~Angela

Horrible and unprofessional manager at this establishment. I ordered fresh "no salt" fries with my meal via my Wendy's mobile app. However, upon approaching the window to pay for my order the cashier handed me my bag. After examining it, I tasted them, and immediately asked the cashier can I please have some "no salt" fries. The cashier informed me that it'll be a few minutes to cook them, and I told her I'd wait. After the fries were given to me, I noticed the fries were not fresh. From my understanding, the "manager" supposedly cooked my fries. I was instructed to drive around to the front door of the restaurant. This is where the drama comes in. The manager abruptly opens the front door of the restaurant and yells across the breezeway to my car and said, "What's wrong with the fries? I told her they were not fresh. She said, (in a authoritative and argumentative voice). "The fries are fresh because I dropped them!" I failed to get into a back-and-forth verbal hollering match with her, so I told her to keep the fries. I immediately drove off and decided to file a complaint against this manager. However, my grievance with this manager, and its store personnel have fallen on deaf ears. This manager missed the mark in terms of maintaining the integrity of thr Wendy's brand; she fails to maintain a professional decorum between restaurant staff, customers, and the like. Your employees are a direct reflection of you. In order for this restaurant to survive and thrive, management needs to improve quality control in the aforementioned areas. ~Antonio
