Best animal hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia (VA) 2024

I am the first to admit that I go into meeting new vets with a lot of skepticism. I, being in the pet industry for a few years myself, am pretty particular when it comes to the care my animals receive. Usually, I go into a new vet expecting to disagree with some things they say and feel a little lost on what to do (I don't claim to be as educated as a veterinarian or staff, but I do know my preference on methods of treatment, etc.). None of that happened today- I feel like I have found a practice that I can be fully confident in the course of action for my pets' health care. From not wanting to over medicate or over vaccinate to simply listening fully to what I had to say about my pets, I came out of our first appointment feeling very relieved I had finally found a vet in the area that shares my views and I can *trust* to give my animals the care they deserve. I am so grateful to have found staff that choose to educate their customers over making money. Today was the start to a wonderful partnership with this clinic. Thankful for the "treat every pet as if it were their own" mindset there.
