I am the first to admit that I go into meeting new vets with a lot of skepticism. I, being in the pet industry for a few years myself, am pretty particular when it comes to the care my animals receive. Usually, I go into a new vet expecting to disagree with some things they say and feel a little lost on what to do (I don't claim to be as educated as a veterinarian or staff, but I do know my preference on methods of treatment, etc.). None of that happened today- I feel like I have found a practice that I can be fully confident in the course of action for my pets' health care. From not wanting to over medicate or over vaccinate to simply listening fully to what I had to say about my pets, I came out of our first appointment feeling very relieved I had finally found a vet in the area that shares my views and I can *trust* to give my animals the care they deserve. I am so grateful to have found staff that choose to educate their customers over making money. Today was the start to a wonderful partnership with this clinic. Thankful for the "treat every pet as if it were their own" mindset there. Key takeaways: honest, not pushy, here for you and your pet's best interest, educated, listens fully before jumping to ideas, focus is on pet being as healthy as they can be. I truly appreciate this practice. Thank you so much for being you!

FYI this is a walk in vets office and you cannot make appointments. You have to hope when you go the doctor is in because her hours do not match the operating hours. I came twice and both times it was over 3 hours before we were seen in the lobby with no AC and a very unhappy puppy.

Dr Dixon and the entire staff at Diamond Hill are amazing! They are kind and take their time and VERY affordable considering the work they do there. My puppy tinktink is going on 16 years old and I trust her with noone else <3

They were amazing! I had rescued a days old kitten that was fading fast, and I called out of some small hope that they might be able to at least point me in the right direction, but not really expecting to get an appointment, but they blew me away! Not only did they fit my newborn kitten in that same morning, they went above and beyond to get him cared for.

Brought my dog in yesterday (7-21-22)to be checked for coccidia (she had it three weeks ago) after she began throwing up again and having diarrhea. My husband took her for the appointment , and was told by the vet that she could tell by looking at her ,that she didn't have coccidia,and probably just ate something that didn't agree with her . She said she was under weight 6lbs at 5 months (expected to be 8 lbs fully grown , according to breeder,she is a toy breed) and sent her home without any fecal test,or any testing for that matter, with a dewormer (she's already been dewormed multiple times) . Well today she is still having explosive diarrhea and vomiting. I'm so angry right now!!! I want my money back ,and will never return! Also my husband waited over an hour and a half after the appointment time to be seen .

I have been using this office off & on for 40+ years & have never had a bad experience! Just recently Dr Dixon & her staff pulled our Leo thru a very serious case of pancreatitis & he is back to his old self! We were very worried & had a few sleepless nights, but he made & we are soo grateful!

Slow service, but the staff and the Vet were knowledgeable and cared for all of my pets needs. I recommend this office!

This place is AMAZING!! They worked my pup in same day, when no other vet in town would. The staff was super friendly (especially the woman at the front desk). The doctor was very informative and helpful. You can tell she has complete compassion and truly loves what she does. Thank you all so very much for your help and care!!❤️
