6 Best cell phone store in Richmond, Virginia (VA) 2024

I met a representative Ari today, he was doing his job but I did not go out of his way to help me with transferring my corporate mobile number to a personal number, I have an authorisation confirmation email from my employer and T mobile corporate account expert, account number and pin which is all required, but he saw some error on his side a said he cannot do anything, I insisted I call the their customer care to sort it (which he should have done as I was already in the store) and the on call representative also couldn’t help and had no clue how to resolve it, Ari told me to take new SIM card and then they can work to resolve it, but I requested to make sure first how they will do to avoid me having a dummy line with me just to realise later that they cannot do it, now I am going to another provider thinking it might be easier that way, and yes during all these conversations Ari kept asking me my number at-least 4 times instead of writing it down first time and being proactive. They need to work on training their employees bit better. ~Karan

Lady that greeted us was very nice. The issue is the guy that helped us. I think his name was Bolivar, at least that's the name on the white tag on the little device he used. Took my dad to replace my parents' phones and found a phone he liked. Moto G Stylus 5G priced at $252. When the guy scanned the phone he said they were $299 each. I said it's advertised at $252. He checked with another guy that came out the back room and said it's a different generation. Well the sign didn't say anything about generations and there was no separate generation modeled in store. This is a blatant case of false advertising and scamming customers. They refused to sell it to us at the correct price. My dad went ahead and paid since my parents phones no longer work due to phone companies killing old phones with updates after a few years. On our way out the door I handed the guy the sign and mentioned I didn't know what he wanted to do with it. He actually said he's just going to put it back and keep scamming customers. The nerve of this guy. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. See pictures for proof of price scamming and false advertising. ~Michael

After leaving the Boost Mobile on Concord we came here. We were treated very nicely and helped with wonderful service. I will come here everytime. Great service, very knowledgeable about the phones and assisted my husband with his phone and me also with my phone. This is the store you want to go to. ~Tammi

I would totally give this store a 4 if weren’t for a new employee I have had the “pleasure” of assisting me the last two times I’ve come to this store. He hates his job so much that I had to stand outside and bang on the door for 15 mins while he locked himself in the back of the store to avoid doing is job. He drives a black Cadillac CTS. So if you see it in the parking lot… keep on driving. Pathetic. ~Kelli

I visited the store and came back 16 mins later and the lady was gone. The guy covering her told me they had only small phones when the lady simply showed me 3 big phones and 3 small but he said they didn't have big phones for a few days. Sad and very very poor customer service. ~William
