Disreputable cheats. Took a large collection of unused 1970s and 80's US Postal stamps in for evaluation. Owner did a cursory review and made an on-the-spot offer. I told him he had grossly underestimated the value, could we go through the sheets more accurately? No, he said, I just did that. The owner then stated Cameo would pay 50 percent of the face value. He would sell for 65 percent which was a nice profit. I agreed to this verbal contract and told him I would return with a more exact accounting. When I returned a few days later with a full accounting, he changed the verbal contract offer to only 35-40 percent of the face value and then he wanted me to throw in a bunch of odds and ends (foreign and postmarked stamps) at my expense which his rep had already offered more for separately. I know they are in business to make money. I hate being cheated!! Cameo did that blatantly to my face. Never again. ~J
