the car was unacceptable for a rental, however. I ordered a Toyota Camry for a long distance haul, and was told only a 4Runner was available (gas chugger). It was dirty on the outside, but I said okay as long as it works. I get home and find a headlight is cracked, there is ice cream on the door window, and the rear right blinker is defective. The car has 34k miles. It seems the car was unprepared and there was no preparation for the reservation I made weeks ago.
On top of this, they charged me $50 because the tank was only at 7/8, which was the fuel reading the car began at. It was a hassle getting that settled. I trusted too much, document and check everything and make sure you get a receipt at the end. I recommend to rent from airport pickup locations as they have more inventory and staff on site. ~John
