My first time I walked into the store I was slightly intimidated but I was almost instantly relieved when speaking to a gentleman named John. John and the whole staff were so welcoming to a person with very little to no knowledge of coins. They helped educate me and I ended up purchasing some coins to start my collection. As my knowledge and collection grows I will be returning to this store excited to see the people as much as I am excited to see the coins.

They were very efficient and helpful. Prices given to me for a coin collection were fair market price. Besides coins, they accept other items including stamp collections, jewelry, other collectibles and even good, clean used vehicles and motorcycles.

Went in to buy some numismatic supplies after having some bad experiences at other stores. Not only were they very helpful and enthusiastic, I got a great deal, too. Wound up buying a bunch of extra coins almost to thank them :)

Disreputable cheats. Took a large collection of unused 1970s and 80's US Postal stamps in for evaluation. Owner did a cursory review and made an on-the-spot offer. I told him he had grossly underestimated the value, could we go through the sheets more accurately? No, he said, I just did that. The owner then stated Cameo would pay 50 percent of the face value. He would sell for 65 percent which was a nice profit. I agreed to this verbal contract and told him I would return with a more exact accounting. When I returned a few days later with a full accounting, he changed the verbal contract offer to only 35-40 percent of the face value and then he wanted me to throw in a bunch of odds and ends (foreign and postmarked stamps) at my expense which his rep had already offered more for separately. I know they are in business to make money. I hate being cheated!! Cameo did that blatantly to my face. Never again.

Today I was fortunate to find Cameo Coins and Collectibles. Also getting to meet the owners John and Chip. This shop is a wonderful place for coin shopping and education. John,Chip and Harry got me on the right path to coin my collecting adventure. Outstanding experience.

My boyfriend and I have been there multiple times and have never had a bad experience. They are honest, patient and they treat you like family. The only that is missing is a pool and a tiki bar. Joking. We absolutely love this place!

I had a great experience at Cameo Coins. Working with Chip was great! It’s a family business and they treat their customers like part of their extended family. If you want great customer service with a staff who are very helpful and won’t pressure you into something you don’t want, this is the place to go. Plus, it’s nice to shop at local businesses, and this is definitely a local family business.
