Beginning was positive (helpful and engaging staff.) however it’s important to note in this type of industry, temp employees are often perceived as expendable. This was my experience when assigned to 360 modular with this agency. The job description was deceiving as I ended up working for a completely different company that had nothing fall into the same job description. At least it was entertaining when other employees tried convincing me the job was amazing! When I could tell they were miserable. Later a member of this agency told me the company no longer wanted me for “not showing initiative and slacking off,” this was frustrating to hear. At the time I had recently found out i was gonna be a father and dropped out of WSU to be able to save money for my new family. So I was in no position to be “not showing initiative and slacking off.” This was also concerning for potentially damaging my reputation and making it more difficult to find work with this staffing agency. I made my concern vocal and the women (Amanda Zander) who oversees the hiring at 360 modular clearly disregarded my problem by asking me if I wanted a job 2 weeks later for making cabinets??? Anyways integrity lacks here, which goes a long way for employees with these types of negative experiences.
Also I don’t know what 360 modular’s problem was with me. Must be a reason they rely on a staff agency though, I hope they get there s**t together. ~h
