Best sandwich shop in Bellingham, Washington (WA) 2024

They don't accept coupons. Why send them out if you won't honor them? That seems like a really bad business practice and frankly, unethical on management's behalf. It's super awkward in-store...no music, no friendly greeting...nothing. Manager was rude and unhelpful, and preferred to stare at the new employee making the sandwich (who took forever), rather than help customers waiting in line. Had to shout because employee could not hear anything. Unpleasant experience for mediocre food at best. Wish Bellingham had a Jersey Mike's! ~Emily

Really enjoyed this particular Subway it's one of the better ones in our town clean staff was very friendly knowledgeable and enjoyed my visit. ~Michael

I passed by this business several times thinking it was a bakery. What I found was the best spot for breakfast or lunch in Bellingham. Clean, spacious and has a charming decor but this is nothing compared to the impressive menu selection, quality and quantity of the food and outstanding service. Perfect spot to meet friends for coffee or a meal. The prices are very competitive and they donate part of their bread sales to charity each month. I highly recommend Avenue Bread. I know I will visit regularly. Vegetarian options: Several veggie options are available for breakfast and lunch. ~S
