I understand inflation but you have to be kidding me on some of the prices! 7.99 for one rambutan EACH!! I rung them up to find out that 5 would cost me nearly $40 dollars. That is the most laughable thing I have ever seen in a grocery store. Went over to see what the price of a passion fruit would be and they were $4.49 each. I understand paying a little more for more exotic fruit and am happy to pay it, but when the price for 5 rambutan is the same as what you could buy a fairly nice bottle of whiskey for, that's just way too far. Although I think it's actually really funny, shame on you Safeway!! I will not be buying produce here again. I can go to a " well known " more expensive store 5 minutes down the street to get much cheaper and better quality fruit. ~Lynn

I had several problems with my service this month ( CRAZY FLUKE, never happens) and JESUS went WAAAY above and beyond the calls of customer service duty to fix my (freak) problem. NOBODY could figure out why my phone was not working, even though I had current service. Jesus made sure to get answers and have my issue resolved. He is THE BEST!!! To be totally honest, EVERYBODY at this location is amazing. I love this store! ~You

People say oh its cheap gas.... its watered down.... it ruins your car's engine.... I've heard a bunch of comments about AM/PM fuel but in reality I, myself have never noticed it making my car run bad or funny or anything like that. The last 15 years I've only owned cars that run on premium fuel & all I know for a fact is that it costs me less to fill up my tank here than anywhere else besides Costco or unless I have fuel points at Freddy's or Safeway. Otherwise I'm at AM/PM for sure. ~Joseph

Most Jackson’s are spotless with nice folks and plenty of food hot and ready. This one has disgusting microwaves and when I went in, there was zero hot food at 11:30, nothing and staff standing around. Couldn’t believe how dirty the microwaves were with caked up food and look like they haven’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long. Pretty sad representation of the brand and franchise. ~Richard

The pharma manager is quite nice and kind to us. The immunization price is quite high compared to Seattle stores. I paid $33 for a flu shot while I only got less than that in Seattle. I thought Tacoma prices are cheaper than Seattle. Overall, the experience was normal and cordial. ~Danny

Please dont use this pharmacy for your own health and safety... They do not even have the proper computer system to look up patients' transferred medications and previous history... Most importantly, a rude female pharmacist refused to help a customer/pharmacist and hung up the phone because all her prescriptions had been already transferred out.. (shock!!) I am very worried about the quality of service that her customers will receive. ~Ji

Best customer service I've had in a while. I reserved a truck in tacoma and when I went to pick it up no one was there. When I called customer service I was redirect to this location. The employee who helped me was professional, friendly overall excellent. And when I returned the truck a few minutes late she was more then understanding. I'll be needing another truck in a month or so and will definitely come back to this location. So thank you to the employee who helped. ~Carlos
